Will you be buying Dragon Age 2?

Still, I love the new writing style. Really, I do. And if I said your concerns weren't relevant I'd be deluding myself and bull****ting the community. In a recent interview (I think this excerpt went live on 1up), Mr Hudson said that Mass Effect 3's story could be shaped by over 1000 variables. He also said this:
"In Mass Effect 2 we focused on what we love about RPGs: An awesome sense of exploration, intense combat, a deep and non-linear story that's affected by your actions, and rich customization of your armor, weapons and appearance," and "We had an overwhelmingly positive response to this approach, and while we'll make further adjustments to it for Mass Effect 3, we're really happy with how it's been received so far."
It seems that the direction BioWare as a whole likes to take has changed to the Mass Effect 2 style of lite-RPG. While that style suited Mass Effect 1, they over-streamlined in Mass Effect 2, and alienated their old-school audience with tiny city areas, less side-quests, horrible mission variety and poor handling of the inventory interface complaints. It looks like DA2, with it's 2-year dev cycle, is taking the same route. I just hope that they don't alienate us again.

I care too much about the story to not buy it. Sorry, Rubbish Hero, BioWare got me with the first. There're too many mysteries in the DA universe for me to read DA2's story off a wiki plot synopsis.
Fight big dragon, kill it. The end.

I have already pre-ordered this. The game is not being designed for consoles. The console version is being redesigned to play to console strengths. The PC version will not be the same as the console version in respect to game play mechanics.
Me too! I pre-ordered last month lol.
Rubbish just stop!? All you are doing is adding fuel to the fire. Stop trashing consoles. Stop trolling about "THEY MADE THIS A CONSOLE GAME RAHRAHRAH". SHUT UP. Christ.

It wouldn't be a normal day on the Bioware Boards without it.

You're absolutely correct. I don't mind it, I really don't - however, when it's the same person over and over again.. I begin to go a little mad. I could care less about the PC v. Console war. But stfu. Every post from this person has to do with it.

Hence where the "rubbish" in hero's name comes from....Apparently they dont have anything better to do than to get all Bobby Bouche "Mama says Console is for deh DEVIL" every time they post something here.

You can't be that blind, the only reason Blizzard games sell extremely well on the PC is because the pirates who download it won't be able to play multiplayer (the main aspect of the game). I can say for certain that many pirate friends of mine went out to buy it on day one instead of pirating it.

Pirates play multiplayer, including world lovecraft. Blizzard games sell super they have a good reputation. Starcraft II sell purely reputation, nothing else, beat Dragon Age's pc sales single day, not include asia lands or any pre-reviews. Valve sales pc, understand platform. Orange box buy because Halflife, not Team Fortress, nobody know portal. Good reviews, good pc, Valve the best for winner.

Lets be realistic Rubbish. Who in their right mind wouldn't think SC2 would smash sales and records? When I went to Wal-Mart (come on Wal-Mart?!) and every single copy from their display of 50+ were gone. It's a no brainer.

I'll answer only the bits I was capable of understanding.
Pirates play multiplayer, including world of lovecraft.
But they play on pirate servers away from everybody else, they don't get access to the real game nor do they get a chance to do much. Many of these servers simply give them the best gear and make them obscenely powerful for "teh lulz". This isn't the real game, so many of these people who actually want to try and make it up with the community will need to purchase the game.

I'm pretty sure reputation was a huge factor for the sales, it wouldn't change anything if pirates were capable of getting what they wanted. Dragon Age can be pirated and the only flaw in the system is that you can't upload your character to Social or you don't get access to a few goodies while a pirate version of Starcraft effectively loses over 50% of the game.
Pirates who want Starcraft 2 aren't stupid enough to download it and need to purchase it for all it's features.
Valve sales pc, understand platform. Orange box buy because Halflife,
not Team Fortress, nobody know much portal. Good reviews, good pc, Valve
the best for winner.
Valve also tends to get pirated.
A lot.

I marched into my store and the shelves were still full, I grabbed one and purchased it to walk out.
Must be because I live in a small farming community.

Damn man! I was kinda upset when I went in for something else and all the damn copies were gone. I've gone to other places and seen about 10 or so on shelves but decided to let my friends give me play by play battle results. I do find that fun actually.
