So clearly Krogan really dig Asari women...



It's odd though since they look absolutely nothing alike. I wonder if Asari naturally have a beauty mind-control effect.



In any case, here's hoping we finally see what female Krogan look like in ME3. I wonder if we'll have a female Krogan NPC who happens to be sterile and is thus a merc. (that would be awesome)



Plus, where do you go Krogan NPC-wise after Wrex and Grunt?

Just reading old threads and it's interesting to note that after a year, the third game pretty much debunked that opinion (that asari are attracted to mind/sould only and body is merely a vessel). Aethyta comments (with obvious sexual satisfaction) Benezia's breasts, and there are those celibate Ardat Yakhsi who were excited over seeing that notoriously mentioned erotic movie with Asari.

So apparently it's not purely mental/emotional.  They are, just like humans, wired to recognize and react to visual sexual stimuli.
But it's interesting to note that it's all about female, asari sexual traits. And that actually makes sense (it's impossible that they would be wired to feel sexual attraction to other species, and their species contains only one gender). 

But therefore it looks weird why asari bond with other species. Even so different as hanar or krogan. Apparently, in such cases, indeed mental connection is the most important part,  just like for some real life women (there are some women who are attracted sexually only to one gender, it applies to both straight women and lesbians, but after falling in love with member of that "second" gender - and that's possible thanks to a fact that mechanisms for "love" and "lust" in brain are not the same, but different systems - give it a try, since as they say, love is more important than sex (and for release there are always fantasies and movies).

But it would mean that Liara during love session with maleShep propably fantasizes about those hot asari strippers she has seen in club
