give this a try...it might work - go to XBox 360 game consol system settings, time. check to see if the time correct. if you find it is 5 minutes ahead set to correct time and try your game again. It sounds like you are having a similar problem I did and this quick fix worked. for some reason games like ME2, NHL10, DA wont work unless the time is exact with the EA server time for your time zone. hope this helps.

I got the same message, I ended up disconnecting fromlive to play the DLC, after it had updated.

Just tried the above, it does work, although you will have to disconnect from live to be able to change the time on your xbox, it won't let you alter it if your connected.

cheers for the help. why they have to use EA servers is beyond me, it just makes life 10 times more difficult!

if you manually reset/set the time your problem should be fixed. I fixed the time once and have not had this problem again. If you contact EA support they will tell you to 1st: clear the cache on your XBox (I tried this and it didnt work for me servers still wouldnt connect) and 2nd: delete all game saves etc and start game from scratch (I didnt go there). I got lucky with PHub88's time fix solution. If setting your time manually for the correct time doesnt work perhaps one of these EA suggestions will.

The time fix worked for me as well. Was having problems connecting to the DA servers and checking the time my system was 3 minutes ahead. Fixed the time and I immediately got in.

Time fix will not work due to Xbox Live sets the time for you.  Just keep bugging EA to fix the issue.

My time is spot on and I am getting it. I just picked up the Ultimate Edition and I keep getting the "EA servers no longer available." Cleared cache and I don't have a game save yet. :/

PoisonPinkFluff - is it possible this could be a firewall issue or something blocking your 360 to get to the DA servers (these are different from the Xbox Live servers, so connecting to one may not mean it is able to connect to the other)?

Interestingly enough, for the first time in the long history of owning the game (almost since launch) I've encountered this problem. It started yesterday when I noticed it took almost a minute to connect to the servers. As of today, I am not getting a connection at all with the "EA Servers Not Available," appearing.

As I mentioned, I never encountered this problem with the original copy of the game and though I recently upgraded to the Ultimate Edition a month or so ago I did not encounter this error until today.

No new firewalls or updates from my Web Service provider (Time Warner) so some investigation of this matter by EA Tech Support would be very much appreciated. I understand the need for these DRM features (I don't like Pirates either. Except for Capt. Jack. He's awesome) but when errors like this pop-up, you folks aren't doing yourselves any favors.

Edit: Some other interesting observations. The lack of access to the EA servers appears to happen when the game attempts to verify all downloaded/DLC content. Also, strangely, though the prompt appears signifying that the EA servers are not avaialble, no DLC/Downloaded content appears to be effected. All items are still usable in the Inventory and Ostagar/Soliders Peak remain acccible. I have not been able to verify Amgarak or Witch Hunt as I do not yet have a character leveled high enough to access said content. Aside from not being able to access the EA servers, nothing appears amiss.

Not sure how much attention those who are capable of making a change read these posts, but I believe such a suggestion is best addressed to EA support so they know definitively rather than the vagaries of the forum.

GreyWarden36: have you followed the other advice on this particular thread? Also, is there any particular reason you require the EA servers to play the game? In my experience the game can be played offline.

glenboy24: it is possible that the EA servers could be experiencing problems. These things tend to be intermittent. No less annoying but rarely a permanent problem. Give it a bit of time to see if the problem corrects itself.

I've just recently started getting this message. It won't allow me to play my save file either. When I get to the load screen after it pops up, it's blank.

When should we expect this issue to be resolved? The servers have been down for over a day now, and because I need to log in to verify my DLC, I can't play the game.

I found that you just need to keep trying to get in & eventually you will be able to do so as the time wasn't an issue. Also if the page goes blank on your save game after you try to sign in leave it for about 2 mins and it should bring your save game up. Hope this helps.

It is possible to use dlc offline. Is there any particular reason you are unable to? (I take it that being offline is much the same as being unable to connect to the servers.) I play offline with all my purchased dlcs without problems.

Hi, sorry to add to the already many posts on here but myself and my uncle are having the same trouble. We use the same XBox and recently brought the the new XBox 360 slim (our old one gave up), I brought this game for his birthday (3 - 4 months after buying the 360) but we've never been able to connect to the servers. The EA support doesn't offer any info and I've tried the above methods but nothing has worked. Is this going to be a case of we're never going to be able to access these servers? Or are they down because they released DA 2 and haven't given much thought to those people still playing DAO?

I'm afraid I'm experiencing the same problem. I have made sure that the time is correct, and that there are no firewalls put up to stop it. Also tried clearing the cache, but it didn't help.
Also, after I click 'A' when I get the message, I just get the menu background, the music, and the title.
Please assist if possible.

I stopped getting the error at 3PM Canadian Atlantic Time on August 18th,
lets pray it stays fixed. xD
