Some textual things would fit better on the wiki, like a tutorial for example.

Not trying to be negative, I love the site and it's a tremendous resource.

I have mentioned this type of thing before regarding # of files and files sizes. If the goal is to be similar to what the vault is then number of allowable uploads and the size of the uploads has to be larger.JasonNH wrote...
If the projects page is supposed to be the place to host our content, why is it that only jpg, gif, jpeg, png, bmp, xls, doc files are allowed to be uploaded? I also don't like the small limit on the file size. If I have 20MB why can't I allocate it as I need? Perhaps I misunderstand how the content is to be posted to my project, but I can't post a zipped archive to reduce the file size and the file sizes are too small to be useful IMO.

Now, it is understandable that you don't want to have to dedicate tons of servers or server space and all the maintenance that goes along with that but perhaps file limits and total size could be adjusted depending on the type of project or something along those lines?
We have seen already in the co-op module making test of 'The Blood Mage' that it was necessary to set up file storage and access off site because of the limits of the social site. It is a short step from just file storage and transfer off site to file hosting and or mod projects with their own forums and sites.
The same applies for peoples individual work. If for instance Jassper has a library of custom FX he has made, Beerfish has some custom animations he has made and Sunjammer has a new Nug AI behaviour set of scripts and these people have insufficient room to host these they will either host them on another site or a personal site and thus people wanting this 'uber popular' content will be going off site to get it.
This is a pretty important issue in my mind so I'm hoping BioWare is discussing it.

That has been the plan all along, but without actual projects being created, the projects all have wild guesses for what the limits should be.Beerfish wrote...

So, pick a project category, and suggest some reasonable limits (and a list of reasonable filetypes). We'll get the numbers updated based on builder feedback!

Okay, i will look at the file sizes of my utility spreadsheets, those are fairly large. Alsoit might be helpful to have a half page or so on this site somewhere that can give people tips on how to reduce file size either via resolutions of images or compressing files or whatever.

Are NWN2 file sizes anything to go on? Will DA file sizes be much different?
NWVault has no file size limit per se.

For example, if I was looking for modules to play, I can search through projects in the "Dragon Age modules" category, but there is no easy way to see which modules are finished and ready to play and which ones are under development.
The same applies to B2B content - there is no way to see what is ready for use by others and what is still under development.
Then there is the issue of feedback - people can leave comments on projects, but there is no support for a rating system currently. This might not be as critical as for NWN, where many people rely on the rating system to find modules that are worth playing - simply because even in the most optimistic view, the number of DA modules will be much, much smaller than the number of NWN modules. Still, some sort of a rating system would be nice.
