To get this achievement, you must enter 23 areas of the game (see www.trueachievements.com/a37922/traveler-achievement.htm for a list) and you must do this in a single playthrough. Note: The Orzammar shops are Figor's Imports (in the Commons, but you cannot enter the shop until after seeing the Carta harass Figor), Janar Armorers (you'll wind up there by following the main quest line), and Alimar's Emporium in Dust Town. Figor's and Alimar's are most likely the two specified in the above link.
I have struggled with getting this achievement for eight months and have read numerous threads in these forums about the requirements. However, it wasn't until I read the post in the link above that I realized the necessity of visiting all of those places in one playthrough. My problem was that I missed Figor's in all my playthroughs because I never bothered to try the door after seeing it wasn't open the first time I came across it. After reading through this list: http://dragonage.wik...ler_Achievement I tried a quick run to Orzammar, got into Figor's and was crushed to discover that did not award me the achievement. So, having just finally unlocked this last achievement, I figured I'd post my findings here in the hopes they'll help others.
Please forgive yet another topic regarding this achievement, but I wanted to make sure this post didn't get lost in the slew of threads asking for help with the Traveler.
