Hello guys! I really really need your help. I'm totally wanting to get a tatto of the mass relay pictured on the loadin screen in ME2 but I can't find screen shots anywhere. If anyone can get me a clear picture of a mass relay i'd REALLY appreciate it.
thanks!
Do you mean the wireframe version? Or the one shown when the Normandy makes a jump?
ETA: I can get you screen shots easy. If you're on PC, you can too. There's a way to enable it by editing the Coalesced.ini file. I didn't bother with that, as I've got Fraps. The other option: download RAD Video Tools. It's free, and you can use it to play the video files for the game; and since all the loading screens are actually little cutscenes, that includes them. Then just use a screencap utility, like the Snipping Tool in Windows 7, and set it to grab a window.

Yes, wireframe. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANT!

can i stress the ":crying:" any more?
besides, people have gotten much worse tattoos and I'll always love the adventuresome spirit that mass effect gives me. and what better way to remember it than grinding it into your skin with a big needle?

There's a difference between classic icons and an aspect of a popular game.
If I had gotten a tattoo of Bonk, a fairly well recieved and popular game for it's time, people would be asking me "WHO?" all the time.

EDIT: Fixed my post.

I got a the IDIC (infinite diversity, infinite combinations) symbol from Star Trek tattooed on my wrist.

It's specialized enough that the common man won't know what it is, unlike say the Enterprise herself, has a special, significant meaning and is not garish.

True, they may all be icons, but that doesn't change the fact a particular series may hold a special place in someones heart regardless of popularity. Games like System Shock and Chrono, while famous, are not recognized by many mainstream gamers. Yet, those who have played these games (like myself) they are some of the most unforgettable games in the industry. Hell, I still play my favorite childhood games from time to time.
And besides, if the tattoo has a special meaning or connection to a specific memory or ideal, whose to say that the person will regret the tattoo? Both my arms are covered in tattoos, and seven years later, I have yet to regret them. I even plan on getting my own ME tattoo soon (thinking about Jack's shoulder design).

It's not a bad choice I think. I think you either want to go with it being either extremely detailed and accurate or somewhat simplified and stylized, something inbetween could just look muddied.
