As hinted in the title, I'm right now just trying to make a simple map with which I can experiment with water meshes. To do this I have to export all local points and this is where the problem comes up.

So here is what I do:

-First I make a new module. Then I make a new level (just a regular 64 x 64 default sqare).
-I then hit the Create An Explorable Area, defining the walkable area and give the level a name and layout name.
-I create a start point, then generate the pathfinding.
-Then I insert a light.
-I save my level.
-Then I go to Tools>Export>Do All Local Points...and this comes up in my log:

E: 20:11:00 - Local Posts Failed!
S: 20:11:00 - Export Summary, 1 Requested, 0 Success, 0 Skipped, 1 Failed.  Please see below for more details.
I: 20:11:00 - Offers.xml file has been updated successfully.
I: 20:11:00 - AddIns.xml file has been updated successfully.
I: 20:11:00 - PostProcessing
E: 20:11:00 - test_area_3.lvl - Exporter FAILED for resource: test_area_3.lvl
W: 20:11:00 - SanityCheck: No lightmap atlases found. Using legacy non-atlased lightmap data instead.
W: 20:11:00 - No lightmap atlas found. Falling back to display legacy lightmaps in editor.

I've looked around and found that my issue might be that I'm not generating the lightmap correctly. However I can see that I have the ERF file after I save my level. I have downloaded and installed the latest Python and Active Program directly from the Toolset Wiki site.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Does a simple Post to Local work?

You'll need to place an ambient light and a light probe eventually, though I'm not sure whether that's the immediate problem.

Have you tried "Render Lightmaps", "Render Light Probes" then "Do All Local Posts"?

Incidentally, I do all level editing in the Single Player module, to avoid bugs.

Thanks! Rendering the lightmaps and the light probes did the trick. Odd that I didn't find that step anywhere but oh well.
