Wondering if I should bother with it. Keep in mind I installed the mod which places a storage chest in your party's camp so the chest from WK wouldn't really be considered a benefit.
Thoughts?

I just love how people compare cost to coffee.
By the same analogy, the full game is "only" a week worth of coffee, a brand new console is "only" a month worth of coffee.
A dev kindly put out a mod that will give you free camp storage.
A waste of money to some is value to others. Many people would think me mad spending 7 dollars for coffee one morning. DO I spend 7 dollars for coffee every day? no. We get free coffee at work, but sometimes i want a nice flavored latte as a treat.
Is 7 dollars worth the lore you get, the extra in game bonuses and the side quest? It's up to you. It certainly doesn't distract from the game not having it. And Bioware has been so open, that you can easily mod in items you thought were missing, or get a dev crated FREE storage chest.
I made a comment about returning coffee, because to consume something willingly, with full knowledge of what the product was, then say it was a ripoff, isn't a good argument to make. You can easily read reviews on DLC and see if it is up your alley.
It was my decision to spend 7 dollars on latte's, when i could wait to get it free at work without the extra flavour.
it is yours to spend 7 dollars on extra content, or wait for free mods that add in stuff you would like, without maybe the extra polish of the bio ware label.
Edit: woah weird editing bug

well technically you can retun to it and use it as a base of operations, you just can't wander aroudn the keep aimlessly.. but who knows maybe someone will mod it and make it into something more.
good thing about dragon age, everything that is released is modable, and thus can be upgraded endlessly by the community.
So i would say you are buying an experience for 7 dollars, in addition to the potential for much more from the community.

I was really comparing it to spending some change on a "treat" type consumable. Yes you bought DA, yes i think it is worth the retail price.
Now do you want to add to that experience and treat yourself, or do you think spending the same amount of money on something else is more worth it? I wouldn't relate coffee to muti-million muti-year releases.... but i think it's a fair analogy for micro transactions. Micro transactions inherent worth are in the buyers eyes. There is no rough industry standard like you see in retail game release pricing.
Shale was free, Wardens keep was 7 dollars. Oblivions horse Armour was 2.50. My coffee was 7
err, i think i lost the point i was trying to make, please ignore me and petition Priestly to strip my Bio tag.
