I thought it was too short to be honest. And I was left with a quest unfinished, because once the main part is over you can't get back in the building.......thing was I was under the impression when I bought it that...it kind of works like Oblivion, once you clear out the baddies the place is yours, with lots of places to store stuff, but nope ..not how it works.

Yeah the Oblivion Kot9 was fantastic, albeit there is no real need for vendors and such in Obliv

I'd say don't get it.  I mean, it should have came with the game in the first place.  IMO it's kinda lame that not even a week after the game is released and they are asking you to pay more money for stuff that should have been in the game to begin with.  Weak move Bioware.

I enjoyed it a great deal and it's a handy base as well. Would have liked having an actual bed to sleep in rather than that damn tent :D Without joining the "it shoulda been free" chorus I'd say it was worth maybe $4 based on length - you are paying more per hour played than you arer for the base game.

If the description of the DLC wouldn't have lied about the base of operation bit, then I would have been fine with paying $7 for Warden's Keep, but since the whole reason I purchased the DLC was for the supposely base of operation, I feel one hundred percent ripped-off and I will get my money back one way or the other. Bioware will pay me back with interest.

I liked Warden's keep a lot...quality level and some items and some good stuff in the shops afterward. The downside is it only lasted about an hour or maybe 2..and the place is sorta worthless after you finish it (IMO). I mentioned before, since it is now a Warden's Camp it should be treated as a Town where you can change party members (so buying equipment is not a chore) ..that would hav emade it better....being able to go back into Warden's Keep afterward would have been nice...seems stupid that you no longer can...unless that changes later? I see future price tag on going inside it..

Yeah, the whole "base of operations" misconception seems to be the biggest complaint. They should really fix that on the description.

Glad I didn't buy it cause that would have pissed me off something fierce.

It was kind of short so it dissapointed me a little bit but still you can use it on all your characters, so eventually it will be enough

Proportionately the content does not = the cost of the original content. 60-100 + hours for the base game - $46 bucks....1-2 hours for the DLC - $7. Just a slight difference. It was an interesting DLC but as other say...probably not really worth $7. I bought the first DLC for mass effect and was completely disappointed in how lame that was...at least WK is better than that (letting me back in to finish the quest would be nice).

TBH, if you're advertised a piece of DLC called Warden's Keep, that promises you a "base of operations" then that should be at least what you're given.

The fact that completing the main questline in the Keep, then leaving the zone to make your merchants appear, completely breaks the ability to finish the Avernus and Codex quests is unprofessional. There should be some warning at least that leaving the area will render the Keep completely un-enterable, thereby breaking this part of the game in this way.

For these facts alone the DLC is NOT worth the $7.

I purchased it on release day, so no reviews or warnings about the Keep's opening hours (or lack thereof) were available. At the very least you expect to have a Keep to use at the end of the quest content. Especially if you're a long-time Bioware gamer and had the Keeps in the BG & NWN games.

Bioware should put out a fix for this ASAP, and allow those gamers who left before finishing the side quests to do just that.

Completely unbelievable. I expected far better Bioware. Honestly.

Why deny players the ability to enter the Keep after the main DLC questline is complete? It's a nonsense.

Worth it in my opinion, though mine came free with the game. I can't mod or play it on PC so having a storage chest and additional merchants in a place very close to the party camp is quite helpful. The quest was fun but nothing special.

The keep isn't close to the party camp. The camp is set up one click away, no matter where you are in Ferelden.

I am rather pissed off that we cannot re-enter. Bioware needs to address this and release a patch to enable the inside of the keep. Is it moddable in the toolset?

For 7$? It'd probably be worth it if they let you in the Keep afterwords, or had some sort of conclusion to the choices you made.

As it is, it's a 3$ thing.

Warden's Keep is worth it if you plan on replaying the game more than once.

A lot of you are basing the DLC's worth on the play time that it offers. That's fine I suppose. Personally, I don't base the value on the time it takes to finish it or on any full game for that matter.

The money I spent on the full game is the same I spend on most games. But DA:O is much longer than most of those other games. Do I feel ripped off that I spent the same amount of money on a bunch of comparatively short games? No, not at all. I enjoyed most of them and felt that my money was well spent for the entertainment that I got out of them.

The only thing that disappointments me is i thought it would turn into a base, and it's just merchants and a chest. I haven't finished the game after doing it though so maybe there is mention in the end credits.

though I like the concept of wardens keep I personally feel its a bit shallow, takes at most 15 minutes to run trough, really wish there was atleast one challenging encounter..
And kind of wish that there was an actually consquense to ur choices.. I just clear it 100% every time, no sense in letting someone escape with a perfectly fine robe or armor set.

Id have to say its only worth if you want to get the best 1 hander-2hander in the game without actually earning it.. and a storage chest ofc.

You know what? I love Bioware. I love Bioware games. I want them to make more. If my $7 contributes in any way to them creating more great content, I will gladly pay it. Not to mention that I found the Keep to be a great little quest. It's good value and in a small way you will contribute to Bioware's ability to make a great sequel. Buy it.

Ok, I just finished the WK story but working on the side quest "Ancient History". I'm still inside of the building and I just read that once you leave it's gonna be locked? What do you mean? The door of the building or the gate to the entire place? Then where will the merchant and the blacksmith be? Inside or outside. Can someone tell me where I can find them or is it like one time use once I zoned out then I'll never see them again?

The merchants will be outside in the snowy courtyard once you exit to the world map and then return.

good thing about dragon age, everything that is released is modable, and thus can be upgraded endlessly by the community.

What if it's the xbox version?
