Not only did they close it... but mutltiple re-incarnations were closed.  Tali fans everywhere must be crying like little babies.  This dude is just one example... I think he feels that the 10's of Tali fans will hurt the mods with their lame fan fiction about how dreamy Tali is.  That stuf kills... burns the eyes even.

The problem, as I see it, was that they were using the thread for stuff that should have been in a group.  Using a group is fine for chatting because it doesn't constantly bump threads off the front page.  As for picture spam... it's annoying and should be kept in a group as well where group leaders and officers can moderate the pictures.
