I went to enter the promo code for my CN card....and my email that I use on the forums and the email I used to make my EA accounts are different....

can I change my email on the forums to match my EA one?? I don't want to loose all the goodies on the card by sending the promo to the wrong emailImage IPB

Make sure you redeem the codes for the correct account. Thus you need to properly link your Microsoft gamertag to your EA account. There are a few threads in this forum you should check out.

O__o oh my....... that..... is....complicated..... I'm gonna go check my EA account to see which email I have

EDIT

Ok..... I freaked out for nothing? Booted up ME2.... pressed Y to log into the CN..... had to reneter my code once since I punched it in wrong.... but it loaded and merged with my EA account

but..... wtf is up with the directions? Image IPB I was lucky.... I signed up and made an EA account and everything beforehand..... so maybe that's why it took it easily??

I hit DL for the Crash Site, Zaaed, Firewalker etc.....

the BW/EA account thing is REALLY confusing.... I like having everything under one email if I can

You did right. The thing is that once you've entered an EA account from your Xbox to connect your gamertag to you cannot change it from the console. And if you had already played other EA games online you would have already connected your gamertag to an EA account. And a lot of people don't know that their Bioware account is not necessarily connected to the same EA account. For some reason they've created more than one EA account. There has been a lot of people with this problem and thus the above threads were created. And yeah, it is confusing, but I remembered that I already had an EA account when I signed up for my Bioware account so I got it right too. :)

Whew. See...something told me to register on the computer before I tried to hotwire it to the internet.....

so hopefully I won't have to worry about this again... what about when I try the Shale DLC.....

Ooooh... if I have the blood dragon armor in ME....how do I get it in DA?

If you redeem the Shale code from your Xbox while connected to Live it should automatically be redeemed for the same EA account, as long as you use the same gamertag for that code of course. Once you've connected your gamertag to an EA account the first time it will stay that way for other games as well. If you haven't played DA:O online before you will not even be asked for an EA account/password when you start the game as it automatically connects to the same account as you set up in ME2 (again assuming that you use the same gamertag for both games).

Regarding the Blood Dragon Armor. If you've used the code you got with your copy of DA:O it can be downloaded for both DA:O and ME2. It should be visible and downloadable from the downloadable content menu.
