Hi All,
Is there a tutorial on how to create an overland map? I just finished playing SOZ and think I can do some neat stuff with the map, but can't even figure out how to get started.
Thanks in advace.

I'm working on some OM systems right now for Jabberwocky and have had to cobble together all sorts of information to get things to work. Right now, there is not a single tutorial that covers all aspects of Overland Map functionality. This is one area that we, the community, could step up and fill in those missing bits of info.
Having a basic OM demo module on the vault would help future builders as well.

Also check out loudent2's NWN2 Overland Map Supplemental Primer.
Note that he forgot to mention one other XML/GUI file you need: nx2_ol_playermenu

Thanks everyone,
I'll check out these links and see what I can do. I sort of liked the trade system thing and with a few modifications (that I think I can do with creative variables) it can be turned into a reasonable stock market simulation.

Okay. I think I have a handle on how to create an overland map and it looks like it works. I haven't tried out creating encounters, etc. yet but that's not where I was going with this right now anyway.
Is there any way to thank Loudent2 for the primer?
And I've now seen the list of old tutorials so I won't be asking that particular question again
I'll post a different question about trade conversations.
Thanks for getting me started (and Mokah... if I get this figured out I'll try to put it together as a tutorial, but I expect that will take a while for me to become fluent first).
