Zevran is consoling my M!Mahariel, perhaps after the tragic reunion with Tamlen?

Untattoo'd or many fewer, IMO. Like... maybe just a couple of the curls on his left shoulder.
and... t-shirt? Who needs a t-shirt? I would prefer to read more stories about Zev and KaiLynn.

@ICevoL: hmm, $12 isn't that much for a t-shirt, but needs more zevran on it! thanks for the heads-up though.

I did this for the lulz.
The final version is no tattoos as I like the light/dark effects on the skin tone, but wanted to do a wallpaper background.

I also... have no idea what to do with this hair prompt thing. Anyone want to tell me what to write? I won't enter it, I'll just... do what Sresla's been doing, writing the prompt just to write it.
Oh hey, new people! Hello, we're a friendly bunch; we only bite if you ask us to.

*brainstorms* ...why does Zevran wear his hair long and loose? For someone so attuned to finding small advantages to leverage in close combat, it seems unlikely. Short or at least tied back would be safer. Is it just vanity? A brag about his skill? Has it ever caused him a problem in a fight?
ETA: I think it involves Taliesin somehow. Not sure how. He liked it, it was a dare... dunno.

______________________________
Alright... another short story inspired by the ZevThread (thanks @jenovan and corker for their help with the translation <3)
There were two different "triggers" for this little anecdote. The first was payroo who asked Tellervo to write
something about "Zevran as an Antivan Crow back in the pre-Rinna days", the second was soignee's wonderful new picture of Zevran.

A Simple Mission
"Some people simply need assassinating. Or do you disagree? "
She was a woman about forty, Widow of a wealthy merchant and prematurely aged. Her thin hair, which she wore as a bun, had significantly more gray than dark wisps. Her cheeks were sallow, her eyes sunken and deep creases ran from the sharply curved nose to the corners of her mouth.
He decided to undertake the job alone. It would be a simple thing, she had no guards, only two maids. The first approach was routine, not very imaginative: He stole the wallet, then shouted aloud:
"Excuse me, signora, you have lost something!"
She stopped, turned around - an opportunity for his sweetest smile.
"There you are, signora. You should really be more careful. Why are you all alone on the way? May I offer you my company?"
And with a short, pricise bow, he offered her his arm.
She looked at the young man closely. He was an elf, shorter than herself by a finger's width, the long blond hair carefully coiffed. His delicately chiselled features were made up with a powder in his bronze skin tone, the light brown eyes outlined in black. His perfume scented enticingly. He wore a frock coat of dark red velvet with golden embroidery, a fine black men's trousers and shoes made of soft leather. So noble dressed elves were rare. She intuited his job. With a brief nod she took the offered arm with her white gloved hand.
"Yes, please."
She pressed the basket with her purchases in his hand - towels, buttons and threads for her needlework, barely two pounds heavy.
Her house was in the Via di Santa Michaela - one of the finest streets in the city, an avenue with two wide promenades lined with cypress and tangerine trees. Four marble steps led to the entrance of the white villa, a short canopy was sustained by two concave, marble columns. In the spacious lobby the marble tiles formed a delicate mosaic. She climbed the winding stairs to the upper floor and did not hinder the Elf, who remained following her, with any word.
She sat on her chaise longue the needlework in her hands, he on one of the wooden chairs at a little table in front of the bay window. She had offered him tea and biscuits and he raved about her macaroons. His words were music, a sweet requiem. She put the needlework in her lap and closed her eyes.
"No one has touched me since my husband died. And my husband had never been particularly adept. He did what was good for him. He was not interested to know whether it hurt me. Every word of yours is a lie, but I like to hear them."
The elf had stood up and placed himself behind her chaise longue. When he touched her shoulder, a shudder went through her body. With skillful hands he began to open her dress and to loosen the knot of her hair.
"But no. There is no reason for me to lie. Your beauty is not that of a blooming rose, but of a rose in August, in its full splendor, when the tender petals are fully developed in their strongest color and exhale their sweetest fragrance. The greatest delicacies in the world all need a certain maturity: wine, cheese, women. And I am a connoisseur who knows to appreciate."
He had long since led her to her bed, in her silk petticoat she was lying there, enjoying his words and his touches. Flattery caresses the soul, whether it is honest or not.
She knew that he would kill her. Her last breath was a sigh of relief.

glad to have partially inspired you to write this!
that said, I really liked this. Zevran almost seems merciful, in a way, though there is a certain cruelty to what he does. Poor woman, to be widowed at 40...
It really makes me wonder what Zevran would be thinking through all this (I am sure he has more on the mind than just uh, pleasure). Maybe even a bit of pity? Would the pre-Rinna Zev have thought about mercy, even? (In-game Zev does, at least, have this very weird sense of dignity/nobility. Hmm... lots of food for thought!
@soignee: UNF. just... UNF.
(btw, your earlier comment about ******-tatts made me laugh. Antivan Shore, anyone?)

Man, I *wonder* who would play Snooki in Antivan Shore? Gosh, so hard to come up with someone:

Nothing is coming to mind. Nope.

But only one character could be from Antiva. The rest would have to be Rivaini pirate tourists.

Poor woman, to be widowed at 40...This may sound strange but I feel like Zev's seduction tactic is almost more for her than for him. And I love how it's from the mark's point of view, so that Zevran's thoughts/feelings (if he has any) through all this are hidden...
