Thanks, Sia!  I was hoping I wouldn't miss the refusal.  I knew about the earring thing (although I've never had the pleasure of experiencing that since in my previous romance attempts, I just accepted it the first time). I'm so excited to see where this all leads now!

He doesn't have the classical Spanish lisp -- I can only imagine the sorts of disparaging comments that would net him, on top of his bisexuality and flirtatious manner. <_<  But his accent is generally regarded as Spanish/Latino/possibly Italian.

Not full-on scenes, no. If I let the scene run with the FULL length animations used for those poses, it wouldn't be pretty. But they'd be funny as hell. lol

EDIT: And that armor is the Armor of the Black Fox with UDK (although I may be using a custom tint).

Not to be a joykill, but I'd like to caution folks on posts of solid images. That's what we got shut down for the first time (that was their excuse, anyway, which we will not question because the alternative is not a welcome topic either, apparently)--on topic or not, that seems to annoy the mods, at least in this thread.

@Tellervo - Really? The Alistair Gush thread posts pics all the time without mod complaint. The reason they gave for locking the first Gush thread was it's length. *sigh* It'd be nice to know what the real reasons were. But anywho, I'll post links to images from now on so as not to upset the powers that be.

The toolset notes actually specifiy 'Sounds like Italian'.

Private conversations with her from certain members who are now less active seemed to imply that the images were the problem, and not that they were unrelated, just the number of them (which I also found a disconcerting disparity when held against other fan threads, but that's neither here nor there). Putting them in-line isn't the issue, either, put them in your posts, just... we haven't reached overload levels yet, but I'd rather not again, as much fun as the old Zevthread was.

Ejo is correct. I remember a post by Gaider saying that he took artistic license with both languages for the Antivan language. I don't have the link to his post anymore, though. Anybody else have it?

Well, I'll do whatever keeps the peace... don't want to rock the boat... even though that person is no longer a mod here, at least not in the mod list shown at the bottom of the forums.

Although, like I said, with the Alistair thread been 10x's as long and pics posted, sometimes several times a page, I find it unlikely that they'll be shutting down this thread for Zevran images.

My opinion is... I like pictures, screenshots, fan art, etc (LOVE them in fact). It gets to be a problem when it's tough following conversations; however, I haven't seen any type of excess where that happens in a long time. I personally only put pictures up in this thread when I get the top of page -- or when chasing off a troll (always a dwarf kiss to see them off).

I think what causes the disparity is actual complaints. Zevran draws its share of people who just don't like him which means more lurkers will complain. I think the biggest shame about losing that thread was that David Gaider had commented a few times -- I'm sorry we lost that.

Edit: Ooooh, I may as well ask here.  Should I change the name of ZDF?  I think the name gives a misconception that it's a Zevran specific mod (it started that way but certainly isn't now).  Or would changing it cause more confusing as it is fairly well known?

I thought about changing the name about half a year ago but didn't.  Hmmmmm.
