Rooster's portrayal is a lot of fun, but it's also not very much like Zevran. His "after sex" speech is not cruel, though it may not be something you want to hear and can be hurtful because of that. She did change that and made it a huge defense mechanism. I also am not sure what to think about him meeting up with Taliesen again. That's one of my favorite parts of Zevran's story, and a pivotal one -- what he does when suddenly confronted with his old lover/partner in crime/whatever.
Indeed. But I'm looking forward to see how it pans out in her comic.

However, fanfic should not be kept to in-game lore, and character interpretation is always interesting -- a fresh look at a character is always a good thing. And she is a brilliant artist and great with dialog as well.
Oh, definitely, on all counts.

But for me it's similar to seeing a book to movie conversion...you've read the book, so the differences can stand out (especially with characters/scenes you're attached to).
Lord of the Rings, for instance. I hated that Gimli was turned into comic relief in the movies (complete with falling on his ass at least twice), but appreciated the humour it added to an otherwise very serious/grim story. I still love the movies to pieces, even if I don't agree with some of the changes.

Ahhh I see, I always thought he only triggered after Redcliffe not a any other complete treaty.
Thanks for the info and speedy reply.
Having recently brought him along to Redcliffe for the first time myself, I can add that Zevran does have dialogue there (wasn't sure if anyone had answered that bit...)
