I've had a rough day today and need some Dragon Age :-) I've not got Zev in my new character's party yet, as I'm only at Lothering I wonder if I can manage to get him by the time I go to bed tonight
Get the ZevranASAP mod.
NO DON'T! Once you're in Lothering, it's too late to use it, and if you try, Zevran will never spawn. You have to install ZevranASAP at the latest at Flemeth's.

(Yes, I spelled "bearing" wrong on purpose, if you're wondering. I thought it appropriate in this circumstance

Edit: Completely off-topic, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a mod, other than Qwinn's Fixpack, that restores the Jowan quest that should (but doesn't) come up in a random encounter if you let him go at Redcliffe. I'd really like to see it once, but Qwinn's mod breaks so many of my other mods, I can't use it.

By the way, I saw your comment on the Alek screenshot I posted last week, so thanks for that, too! Alek was the first character I created and I took a ridiculously long time to get his face the way I wanted it in the CC.
About the Jowan quest -- Quinn's mod is the only one I know of that fixed it. I don't use the Fix Pack anymore either, since it conflicts with most of the Dialog mods and I consider that more important than a few XP here or there. It's too bad Quinn isn't around anymore, as I was hoping he'd release the mod for 1.04 and split the quest fixes from the dialog fixes, so it wouldn't conflict (I suggested this when discovering the "Alistair vanishes after the Landsmeet if he's not made king" bug).

Yum! And ICevol, I just want to tell you that I love your Profile pic. That is one of my favorite tattoos and the color you've chosen for it is wonderful.

I'd love to know the answer to this as well. I've been using the console to spawn it at the appropriate time since I uninstalled Qwinn's but a mod that repairs it would be ideal.

Please ignore her rough look... she was made back in the days before I knew how make morphs in the Toolset. One of these days I'll remake her. LOL
And thanks for answering about the quest. I would have loved to have had him return too, and your idea about splitting up his mod would be perfect! I really liked some of the little things it did (like put the boots in the cabinet in Lothering, etc).

Thanks, Tigress! I love that tattoo as well, and since Rysen's eyes are blue, I figured a blue tattoo was appropriate

Though Qwinn stole a lot of my work... I will suggest this. Use the first version of his mod, not the second. He did a bad job with the endgame fixes anyway (heh, and missed a ton because I quit updating ZDF until he was finished using my readme and my publically released b2bs as the way to find his bugs -- once I learned what he was doing, i waited until he released his mod before updating mine again), but he does fix, in his version 1, a lot of the early game fixes. And the first version IS his work.
And also, the first version of his mod should be compatible with ZDF.

I'm on the P/c and havingt trougble working out a different mod so no more for now. I don't want to kill either Isolde or Connor, my new character is going to get mage help because i've not done that yet, so I guess it will have to be the Circle first. I killed Isolde both times before.
You don't have to do the Circle first. Demon-Connor will just wait around until you finish Broken Circle and return (which I think is stupid

Hah! I know, that's what I atttempted to do with my very first character before I got stuck in the Mage's Tower with no earlier save to go back to. I decided to go to the Mage's Tower first in the hope of getting Zevran earlier though - it worked last time and I still sacrificed Isolde! I didn't really do anything beyond offer to clean out the tower yet before I went to bed so maybe I will revert to the last save (I always keep a pre Tower save now, just in case) and do the Redcliffe stuff first. Depends what I feel like when I'm ready to continue later today.

Yep, as long as you ask Jowan what are the other options he'll mention going to the circle to get help from the mages which leaves you free to leave Redcliffe without killing anyone.
Also, if you do kill Isolde and Alistair yells at you, you can regain the approval lost by giving him his mother's amulet immediately after the confrontation and choose the "you're more important than you realise yadda yadda" quotes to appease him. This should not only negate the negative points but net you +2. So you can kill your cake and eat it too
On Zevran, I read in the wiki that there is a point where if you are in a romance with Zev, but have not actually invited him to the tent he will make the first move. Is that true and how do you make it happen? does it break the rest of his romance?
Cheers!

It happens at 71+ (adore), and it doesn't break his romance. In fact, you can turn him down, if you do it nicely, without an approval loss and without breaking the romacne, which leads to a few different dialog choices later in the game.
Edit: The different dialogs are not really earth shattering, but Zevran is nicer during his jealousy talk, during his tent-refusal responses, and during the "political marriage" talk if you haven't been to the tent with him.

I wanted a different way to do his romance for the RP aspect of my City Elf, not that it really matters just curious to see what that looks like.
Cheers!

Thanks @ejoslin unofortunately on the xbox there is no way to tell what your rating is exactly I'm guessing exact middle of the bar is -50+, ah well we'll see if it happens Circenne got +14 off him yesterday for not minding about his bisexuality and saying he could leave whenever he wants etc. So I think she is over +70 having gained other approval boosts earlier.

If it's anything at all like the PC, the middle of the bar is 0 -- you can go from -100 to +100. You will eventaully get the dialog. You can tell from his greeting where he is approval wise.
Romance Greetings
Hmmm? -- blank or interested (-25 blank to 50 interested)
What is your desire? -- (51 Care to 70 Care)
You call? -- (71+ Adore)
I am yours -- (91+ Love)
Edit: If you're in a romance with him and your approval goes down to -26 hostile, you get this amazing breakup.

does any one know where I can download Zev's "ridiculously awesome" quote from I want to put it on my ph as the massage sound.
You just want, "We are ridiculously awesome." his party bark when your group is done killing a bunch of NPCs? Easily done.
