I just got one of my favorite Alistair/Zevran party banters and I have to share it.  Keep in mind, Deserae is romancing both Zev and Ali so it makes this particular banter even more humorous, to me.

Alistair:  Do you mind if I ask you a personal question?
Zevran:  You may ask, but I may choose not to answer.
Alistair:  Fair enough. Have you... had very many women in your time? I mean... you seem like the sort of man who would...
Zevran:  I have indulged from time to time, perhaps, when my interest is not elsewhere.
Alistair:  Right. Well, how do you... woo them? Is there a... technique? Or...
Zevran:  "Woo them?" Are you quite serious?
Alistair:  Er... yes? I don't know what else to call it.
Zevran:  So let me get this straight. You have... never wooed? Not once? You are woo-less, as it were?
Alistair:  All right. Bad idea. Never mind.

The Alistair being "woo-less" just cracks me up!  And the way Zevran says it... it's like he simply can't comprehend such a thing.

And here's a link to another image.  Though clothed... probably NSFW!

This has actually been on my mind recently!

There is a scene I want to write, of Zevran trying to pick up a woman in a tavern.  Now, I know less about the bar scene and hook-up etiquette than I do about medieval life and culture.  So I keep running lines and flirtations in my head, going, "Really?  Is that really supposed to work?"

I don't think Zevran would stay where he isn't wanted, but of course part of the exchange is trying to get the other person to decide that actually, yes, they do want you.  So some persistence might be expected, but too much is creepy, and there's a line between them somewhere...

How does he woo them?  Do you think it's as simple as "Nice boots, wanna ----?" and then moving on, or something a little more seductive?

I think most of Zev's wooing would be non-vocal. You know he can speak volumes with his eyes. I have a feeling he'd go that route, letting the woman see that he's interested and waiting for a like reply in kind.

Then... he'd probably swoop in with some flowery piece of flattery, complimenting them on their hair or eyes, or whatnot. And if that didn't make her lose interest, he'd probably quickly follow up with an offer to dance.

The rest would be history because once he had her in his arms... well, she'd be caught. Hook, line, and sinker.

Well, in game you see the difference between Zevran flirting and Zevran wooing actually (in his own way, he does woo the warden).  I can see him starting with friendly flirting, and becoming more personal as they chat.  It's a very successful technique (far moreso than pickup lines), and keep in mind, he is trained in seduction, both from the wh*rehouse and from the crows.

Honestly, I don't see him trying to pick up a woman in a tavern, though, unless it's for business, so I probably don't have good advice there.

Only works in a modded game (ZDF and MRP both have the same fixes).

Edit: Ahahahaha, I can't stop!  Ok, going to go clean my house or something now...

Yeh, there are 7 Alistair/Zevran banters that are kept out because of a data entry error.

On another topic, I did a simple morph to Zevran which to me is a bit striking.  I changed nothing about him other than his hair color and style, the color of his hair, and a tiny tiny change to the tip of his nose.  But it balances his face out so much better -- it surprised me.  I love the way Zevran looks, but I like him even better with just this simple change.  I think it's actually the short hair style is suited more since the lower part of his face is prominent.

You just want, "We are ridiculously awesome." his party bark when your group is done killing a bunch of NPCs? Easily done.

How come you show up here to answer questions but you never respond to my bait?  Gotten wise, High Priest?

*grin* As long as the files were extracted into the /override directory, it should work.

Perhaps I should switch from winrar to winzip :/  That seems to throw a lot of people.

I used a free download of winzip and the game hasn't crashed so it must be fine. It just looks a bit different to what I'm used to from the rare occasions I used it before (winzip, not the game!)

winzip can now extract .rar files?  That is good news!  I should let the person know who asked me to change formats...

It worked for me.  Bearing in mind I've not seen anything different yet though and can only assume I did it correctly.

If you have a whole bunch of folders with files in them in the /override directory, you did it correctly.

Hmmmm, I think it's time to tackle a bug i know of in Loghain's file...

No, just two inappropriate dialog selections.  Sorry :/  If the player is marrying Anora, the incorrect flag is used so if the warden ever discussed marriage with Anora, the line will appear, even if they don't end up engaged.  The other needs a new flag, so I may not bother.
