@Catspaw -- thanks! Rysen is my canon warden, and I really love how he turned out Posted Image

@Hilde -- congrats on the prompt win!  I loved the story and the win is well deserved! Posted Image

@TigressM -- oooohhhh... that prompt is making me think all sorts of wicked things Posted Image

Edit: I got a Top!  Time to go grab an image link Posted Image

This was created by the incredibly talented payroo on a commission from Kismet76 .  It depicts a scene from Fall Away (Zevran / Rysen Mahariel -- NSFW).  I posted this art to my BSN feed, but I don't recall linking it here before.

Thanks to both payroo and Kismet once again! Posted Image

Agree with @ejoslin about the Cousland. You may be young, but you have to be experienced enough to be left in charge so it's annoying they talk to you like your five and then expect you to run the place. Eh, guess that's why they get themselves killed :P

I tend to see all my characters as kinda early mid 20s at least in terms of RP.

The pub thing is annoying.

@Giggles - Yes. If you try to take off the Tattoo for a Dwarf Commoner, a popup appears suggesting you not do that as it as having a tattoo will make more sense in the story (I'm assuming it's referring to being called a "brand").

@ICevol - That is a wonderful piece of work! I love Payroo's stuff! Thanks for sharing. :)

Ok, I give up! I can't for the life of me figure out what NSFW really means. It's been driving me crazy for months.
"Not Suitable For Wardens?"
"Never Swim Frozen Waters?"
"Nasty Snakes Feel Wonderful?" I hope not:O
I could go on... please someone set me straight.

Thanks Giggles!
I don't even get to answer my phone at work, so I forget people can read this at their desks. Bathroom runs are even out of the question when schools are out and we're neck deep in teenagers (kind of like nightmare with Ravage set on maximum).
I never would have figured it out on my own. Everything else I could come up with just kept getting dirtier...and dirtier...and dirtier...

edit: @ Tellervo - I turned off the internet at my reception desk because one of our receptionists kept playing on Facebook and the parents could see it. Can you imagine what some of the smut we post would do?!?!:o Off it went. They don't need it anyway. If I can't play, they can't play.

You know, I think its "Cadryn and Alessar make out" time again.  I suppose I'll be abusing another ZRS scene with that when I get home.

Well... I realized I can't write just smut. I thought I'd take a stab at doing a kmeme fill. Figured it'd be a one shot deal like all my other ff to-date has been. But nope. It's going to become a little novella, I do believe. *sigh* Anywho... if anyone's interested, here's a link or you can find it on ff.net.

Now if I could just get my butt in gear and work on my NON-DAO stuff I'd be all set. LOL

New chapter of Nations and Ages. Potentially squicky, but not graphic. This one is all Zev, albeit in a fairly abstract way.

I know those feelings... both of them. :P  More the latter than the former right now -- I owe someone something and it's like pulling teeth just writing a simple conversation...

And, well, most of the kmemers seem happy to have novellas with their smut, s'all good. ;)

:D  I turned out a novella-length collection of scenes (too much connective tissue is missing for it to be a real novella) that had... two sort-of explicit scenes, one poetically-described scene, and some kissing scenes.  Seemed to go over just fine.

(And to be on-topic about it, an AU Zevran is (IMO) the hero of the piece.  :P)

@Jenovan - I know. I have an entire novel (non-DAO) sitting here, waiting for me to begin the re-write. *sigh* But, I'm getting there! I finally decided I was going to allow myself the pleasure of continuing to write ff, as long a I also spend equal amounts of time working on my "real" stuff. LOL

And that's good to know about the kmemers! I can do steamy... but it's more romantic and/or sensual, vs smutty. Apparently, my pornography tendencies only lean towards naughty screenshots, not writing. ROFL

OOOH! What goodies to read when I got home!!!

Tig & Tellervo - well done both of you! Loved them both.

Tell - Not squicky to me at all. A little gross is good. Nice distraction pic too.

Tig - I put off the Pearl until later on this run for that very reason. I thought she would be very tense and angry still about what happened to Shianni. I didn't actually do that one until almost the end of Denerim. Needless to say, the shem went down. I loved how you handled her tension. *high five*

@Cat - Thanks! I really thought my story was going to be a quickie out in the alley beside the Pearl since I was doing this a kmeme fill, but apparently that's not what Zev's after. lol

Was referring to the many implications in there, that it was more conceptually disturbing than any actual scene presented within.  Glad you enjoyed it, though.

That is, as the link says, chapter eight of the second story in a series--you'd have to read from the start of the second story to get context (the first story is unnecessary to understanding the series but was necessary to write).

Oh, so we're posting warden-on-warden action?  How about a pair of Mahariels, then? Posted Image

Please note that  Hilde's Torin Mahariel and my Nesyr Mahariel are not blood relatives.  Nesyr was a foundling adopted by Torin's uncle and raised in a different clan *nods firmly*

You are an evil, evil person.  Just be glad I don't have Nesyr's morph or I'd guarantee there'd be some Ehrin/Nesyr fun tucked away in my screenshot collection.

Written for the kmeme fillathon, but really a totally, totally tame tear-jerker:
Last Words

Prompt was something like: Zevran who was in love with a US!Warden goes back to the Gauntlet hoping to see him/her.

ETA: Content warning: dwarven Warden.  ;)

@Corker - I haven't read it yet... will as soon as I get back, but that Prompt itself is already breaking my heart! I would have never thought about anyone (including my own Warden) returning to the gauntlet to see their deceased loved ones.

I wonder if that would even work? Hmmmm... if so there'd be a line from the Gauntlet all the way back to Denerim once word got out, I would imagine.

The Gauntlet's weird.  Whatever agency picks your spirit, it seems to be someone the 'agent' thinks you need the forgiveness of.  Now, several of my Wardens have certainly been incensed at the idea that they need forgiveness for whatever the spirit is talking about - but that seems to be the theme.  So it can't just be any old loved one - it's one you done wrong.

It took me three days to figure out what wrong Zevran thought he might have done to the Warden, that he would need her forgiveness, but I think what I hit on works.

(I almost didn't even write the actual encounter in the Gauntlet.  His encounters along the road answer the question almost as well...)
