Yep, Jon Curry is still listed in the credits as A VA (hopefully Zevran's), although he's being mum about the yea/nay due to non-disclosure agreement, lol. Thank the Maker for small favors.

If Curry is in the credits I'm 95% sure he voiced Zev. Why have him at all if he's not voicing the same dude? And probably various npcs as well, having seen him do other stuff I know he's actually rather versatile.

Looking at the face screenshot again, I really think someone was just derp with the sliders. His eyes are too small, too far apart, his face is too long, mouth too high and narrow, etc. I'm amused that he still has his forehead wrinkles, lolol. Not sure what's up with that lopsided and stoned looking squint, and the area on the skin texture just under his eyes is borked, but otherwise it just needs some sh*t shifted around.

I'm still amused at the hair color. Hopefully it's just the lighting, else Tannusen in my head is extremely amused.

I can forgive his new default face if they'll let me fix it, even if only in my own game. Give me access to the sliders, I swear whoever did this one just sort of glanced at him a few times in DAO. I got Tannusen's morph to look like old artwork of mine, and it ain't as easy as a few glances....

Of course, it won't matter to me much if he's in it for two seconds and/or ignores savegame context, since I won't bother to buy it for something I can youtube in ten seconds. Custom dialogue or forget-about-it; the absolute and utter lack of anything Zev post-Origins has only made my apathy-beast grow, and it must be appeased before I go scraping around for money for a game.

Also, that nose is really small. God damn it bioware, I like Zev's beaky nose!

Hi Glor, welcome to the Zev thread. There are several of us in here who jumped on the Zevran bandwagon after realizing the same thing. He is the most honest and loyal of the companions regardless of the romance status. His dialogue is absolutely the best.

I mostly play rogue anyway, so the lock picking didn't bother me, but when I play mage I just have him and Leli in the party with Alistair til I have levelled his lock pick skill then I get rid of Leli as Zev is all the rogue you need. I always felt that he was a better friend than most of the rest of the party and certainly more loyal as someone mentioned he is the only one who will leave with you OR stay with you at the end if you ask. And I certainly agree that he has the dialogue

Yeah, now that my mage is keeping him as a friend (for now )I found him as funny as he was the romance
I romanced him exclusively my last playthrough too.

At least, he doesn't ask Wynne to mend his socks

Question for long time Zev romancers - Once you activate the romance does he still flirt with everyone?It doesn't bother me, I am just curious.

His romance status doesn't affect the flirtatious banters.  The flirting isn't serious, though.  There are more companion banters if he's romancing a female (but even males get more than females who romance Leliana get).

Wow, really? Well that sucks for Leliana fans. It doesn't really bother me, I am not fussed on her tbh, I do use her early on as a way of getting rid of Morrigan (because the approval drop annoys me when I do nice things) It does seem a bit unfair though.
But then I think whoever wrote Zev put a LOT of thought into it, it is a very well crafted story and one that has always tugged at my heartstrings, not because it is tragic, but because he accepts it and makes the best of it............

I could understand shape of eyes and mouth, that it depends on the angle, etc., but since when "mid-expression" changes the size of nose, distance between eyes, or deletes eyebrows?
I don't find his words comforting, this pathetic excuse just confirmed my worst fears, because he's saying here that Zev IS looking like that.

Alistair's romance is easy not to start.  Don't call him handsome.  Don't tell him he's special to you (even when the two other conversation choices are snarky), and if he asks if it's ok if he calls you beautiful, tell him you would rather he diddn't (this actually should cut the romance off permanently).

If you flirt with Alistair in any way, shape, or form, it turns the romance on.  One of the funniest conversations I ever had regarding that issue is one where trying to convince him to marry Anora.  It went something like, "WHY should I marry her?" "Because I find men in power attractive." "Oooooh!  I didn't know that!" "So you'l do it?" "WAIT!  What about US?" "There IS no 'us!"'" (and IRL I'm going WTF?) Bam -20 approval.

He did marry her, FWIW.

Popping in here because I'm freaking upset. I've been avoiding DA2 spoilers, but I've just seen "Zevran" and I'm....freaking gutted and nauseous at what they've done. I'm assuming it's not just me...

But WTF! Did the devs develop some kind of Zev hate between the games? He looks awful (imo). They did okay with Fenris, so why did they mess with Zev like that? Is he sick or tainted or something?
Could this be a beta version of Zev? As in something that will change when the full game comes out? Please?
