Yeah, I think I mentioned this earlier on. I like Zev because his personality really entertained me, his looks took a while to grow on me  I mean once I did like him I REALLY liked him, but as long as he is still Zev, if they haven't retconned anything vital like personality I will still like him, as much as I am not fussed on the new the look it would feel fickle not to. 
Actually this doesn't bother me, the smile is definitely Zev  *fans self* I can deal......


Still pretty sexy imo.

Let's see...he better have some good reasons that cover the following...

He stayed with his love for a time... (at least until Awakening, at which point he didn't).
He trained Grey Wardens...(where? at their new keep in Amaranthine? XD)
After the PC died, he took over the Crows...(but apparently doesn't have to rule them from Antiva? Or he quit? )
He never loved again...(until Hawke? :x)
He went to Antiva to deal with the Crows...(or was his letter a cunning forgery?)
...and was later rumoured to be followed by his love. So did his love follow him to the Free Marches? I bloody well hope so.

The bleached hair might be just an effect of the light...but anyway, I was sure since I saw the other elves...Zevran shines among them, and I'm even more convinced now that this screen actually does him a bit of justice.

 I bloody hell hope so too, that's what my Awakening ending hinted at after all!
My very personal ending, in my head, is that he settled his score with the Crows, after My Warden killed the Broodmother they were reunited and simply went on travelling together happily everafter. They deserve a bit of happiness in my head, though I suspect Dragon Age world is crueler than me

I don't think he might want to rule the Crows, he wanted to escape from the "cage" so I guess he just wanted to be sure that no one could bother him anymore. Killing a few masters would probably avoid pursuers.

On the other hand, I can even easily imagine him training recruits, I think he would be such a fine and funny teacher. But I guess that he isn't the type to stay in one place for to long, a life of adventure with his Warden suits him better...and after all my Warden left the order in a good shape, I can imagine Nate as the Commander tbh. They might both come to Amaranthine during their travels, even because I suspect the hero of Ferelden can't just leave the Grey Wardens and disappear (though again, he deserves it).

So my happy guess, I don't know what the cameo involves or what side-quest that his, but in my head Zev and the Warden are travellling together...or at the very least, they remained in contact if for whatever reason they had to part for some mission (some Grey Warden stuff maybe?)

If the PC died...well yes, I can see him ruling the Crows after killing some Masters. I think that it would be some kind of reaction...after all, he fell in love again, and again his love died. That whould be too much, I don't think he could go around flirting happily again travelling as if nothing happened. Maybe in this scenario, if he just wanted to escape the Crows, I can imagine in staying in Ferelden, maybe aiding in the shadows Alistair (if he is the king, this might involve travels to the Free Marches too), or maybe visiting Wynne now and then...I don't know, I think he might have developed some affection for some members of the group, and maybe being with them could help him ease his solitude and his suffering for losing the Warden? 

But no, I don't think he will have any kind of relation with Hawk...after all he seems to have plenty of LI around

Can you imagine the hate that would ensue from folk going ''Why do Zev fans get to romance him again?'', we wouldn't be that lucky..  
I guess it is most likely too much to hope for...... but I wouldn't say no to a second bite of THAT cherry  *whispers* more so than Alistair  (think I might be turning, sort of like when you always buy apple pie and one week you decide  to mix it up and have cherry pie and then the apple pie isn't exciting any more...................  )

I would say no  Call me romantic, but if Zevran is in a relationship with my Warden, even if they are separeted for some time, I don't want to "bite" him with anyone else. Not even Hawke. Much better pic of Zevran now, I am actually relieved! No idea how my Hawke will react to him but the game choices I'll be putting through revolve around my Cousland Queen who kept Zevran on side as her lover. I don't think he got a mention in the Epilogue as they weren't actually in love (but I did get the letter from him when I took her through to Awakening) so we'll see what the 2nd Epilogue says, I'm thinking that since the Warden is with Alistair it would be suitable for Zevran to get involved with someone else. Besides, if the option comes up I won't be able to help myself! I had to romance him with all 3 of my Origins characters thus far!

Queeen and King Couslands even with Zevran in love don't get his awakening epilogue card -- they get the royal one.  It's why, if I ever do play DA2, I'm going to go with a non-Queen CousCous game for an import.  I have a feeling I know what is going to happen, and knowing how bugs are, I'm going to be really REALLY careful!

*grin* I just hope Zevran isn't barefoot.  Actually, the screenshot is better but elves are so different.  I want to put some earrings in those ears!

first - I'm glad Zevran has a cameo in DA2 anyway and looking forward to this (re)encounter.
second - however he might look - I have my "own Zevran" in my mind and nothing will change that.
third - whatever logical mistakes there will be - my mind will start to put the puzzle pieces together until I find a picture that makes sense for me - how I've already done this with the dialogues about his childhood and youth.

and last point - I won't either praise or damn a game, before I've even played it.

I know, the real problem is the new model of elves that look a bit like Na'vi as Catspaw mentioned. I can assure you that they made an effort to reproduce "zevranish" features, and for my tastes, if those are the elves, then he is a handsome one still

I'm actually not-so-glad about this cameo. I have my theories on this, and it changes my head-canon once again! But... we will see!

I'm so torn. I did cancel my preorder over the DRM thing (which has been since changed to a more acceptable one). I'm not that excited over the game itself, but I know that what happens will be all over the place, and do I really want to find out before I play it? OTOH, $60 is a lot of money I think (maybe I'm old fashioned) and while it's a reasonable price for a game, I normally don't buy games while they're full price.

I haven't got a completed romance on 360 with Zevran and haven't got round to buying Awakeninga on PS3 yet, so my reality is that I have never had the letter, didn't know it existed (have just read it on DA Wikia though, so sweet and so Zev) So I am not sure how my PS3 play through will go (I have one or two Alistair romances and will have two Zev)
I do know that I will definitely be tapping that if it comes up though (certainly on 360 and almost certainly on PS3) As you say, won't be able to resist. Same would go for Alistair tbh.................. OK, I might be a bit loose with my DA morals.........  But they are just too gorgeous. The new pic is way better and I am good with it, he still has the naughty tilt to his lovely lips and that twinkle in his eyes (HOW do they manage it?)

There aren't many games that are release day must haves for me, I tend to wait til they drop a bit  But I am really looking forward to DA II at least we know Gaider loves Zev, right? So he shouldn't have Ashley/Kaidan syndrome (cos Liara is Hudson's fave... <_<) I am optimistic that Gaider wouldn't allow the de-Zevranising of Zev and if he has allowed it, well they can't take DA:O away from us................... can they?

I know how you feel. To be honest I was even tempted to wait the Ultimate Edition. 

Last time I waited to buy Awakening...when I did, 2 days later the Ultimate Edition was announced. I was a bit angry...because I knew I wasnt going to buy the DLC I missed (I bought the collector of dao and the with hunt only, but just because I thought with hunt could have some consequences).

Not crazy about Witch Hunt and Amgarrak but I do like the content with Shale and Return to Ostagar, and Awakening (in spite of the inability to talk to companions whenever I feel like it) so I think I got a good deal.

Givne how much I like Origins I felt it was worth getting DAII upon release (especially as EA sent me a voucher if I bought something direct from them!). But I generally don't buy many games upon release. I do usually wait but I admit to have made a few exceptions recently with Sims Medieval and Fable III (stupid late release for PC...).

Well the thing is I found him irresistable in all my play throughs but tended to use him for sex, terrible, I know........ It just got to the point where I knew I was doing the character a disservice and wanted to know more so (with ejoslin's help I was able to painlessly get through an Alistair break up) have bitten the bullet and love the taste.  I still love Alistair but I love Zev a teeny bit more I think. Will still romance Alistair but will give Zev his fair share in future

Yeah, Zevran is my favourite too but I have really warmed to Alistair as well since the 2nd time I played the game. Thought he was a bit whiny first time! I can see myself making all characters romance Zevran though, even if they are involved with someone else (as was the case with both Silvana and Erik - until Morrigan forced him to choose and he picked her). Eleyhna, my first character, was with Zevran exclusively.

I think he can come off sounding a bit moany  But if you have a warden who is looking for idealism and chivalry you can't go wrong. Where Zev is the misunderstood bad boy and we get to *tame* him  (but not make him boring.......... lol)

No, not that.  I actually want to ask a few questions (but I can't ask as they would be MAJOR spoilers).  It determines whether or not I ever buy DA2  But I need to know *grin*
