I have no reason to invest any interest in their characters at this point (who I'm not already invested in), because they as a company have certainly shown no interest in them.
And the characters they've revisited haven't been used for the better, IMO. Subsequent storytelling reveals that Ogrehn was never worth the trouble of taking him out of Orzamar, and Leliana's been lying to you. Still...sometimes we take what we can get.

I cannot wait!
@payroo - Now I really want leather pants for Zevran! Wow....

Really, I'd be so happy with just a cutscene of my Warden with Zevran after the whole mess is done and over, there doesn't even need to be dialog, but some acknowledgement that their romance did continue. I'm hoping it happens, but I'm NOT going to count on it!
However, I still am amazed that a game came out where a small part of me fell in love with a character! Amazing game, and in a few months I'm going to play it again. Probably after I play the hell out of FO:NV.
I have no complaints at all. And the ending I have in my head is probably better than anything I could play anyway. But *sigh* I can still hope for one last Warden/Zevran kiss. Won't happen, but would be amazing.
Edit: Though my plan to buy DA2 when it's come down in price is FIRMLY in place! I can't imagine it will come close to the epicness that was DAO.
Second edit: Yes, I like to ramble!

Feeling a bit sad so messed about with Artrage. End product not as I'd have liked (it's not finished) and Antiva City REALLY needs some work...
will attempt to post link now.

If I were to go hunting for, I'm assuming, Morrigan, Zevran WOULD be with me. Everything about the continuity following Origins is PISSING ME THE **** OFF.

Oh, I love it. I think that is a scene many of us have pictured for our Wardens, thank you for bringing it to life.wildannie wrote...

Since John Curry was "other voices" in ME2, I can't imagine he was that expensive a voice actor. I can't think of one good reason why there wasn't at least a cameo for us Zev fansAnd yes, Zevran according to my Origins epilogue stayed with my warden training gray wardens and such. After Awakening, I knew that continuity be damned. But would one sweet, tender scene really have been too much?

We need to commiserate somewhere. Or at least I know I sure do. Why is it that every time I like a franchise it goes to crap? This reminds me of back when I used to read Marvel comics. Seems like any time I start to love a character or a series there would be a cancellation or the character would get killed of or completely revamped into something I hate.
I know if you romance Morrigan, and are friends with Zevran, Zevran is supposed to travel with you on your quest to find her.
I think Bioware is being CHEAP AND LAZY. Including optional companions from Origins would require new dialogue trees. OMGZ, NOT NEW DIALOGUE TREES. Those things apparently cost a fortune unlike the graphics upgrades and designing new random companions you don't get to know that well for a short DLC. This is some bull****.

There are actually plenty of good reasons for a person to let him live if it were real life. After all, you are going against an army of darkspawn led by an archedemon in a land at civil war being controlled by a man who insists there is no blight and that the Wardens are traitors. You need every well trained allie you can find! It's sort of a calculated risk.
Besides, I find Zevran pretty easy to forgive as he was a slave who would be brutily tortured and or slain by his fellow Crows if he did not earn the Masters his worth. He jumps at the chance to escape that fate.

its not a risk i would take. alot is riding on me and if i get killed by an assassin i could have killed fereldan is doomed.

It's not supposed to be easy, who you recruit. I say, play the game as you see fit. Zevran is a very well written character with a very good story arc, and an amazing romance as well. But if you don't want to see that part of the game, that's your choice.
Doesn't hurt me at all
