Are we sure Bioware has no say? I mean, really, if EA didn't need Bioware in order to develop and write DA games, then Bioware would not be making the games, right? I know there are constrains, but it doesn't seem like Bioware is even putting in the effort for DA:O fans AT ALL.

They seemed to do right by Mass Effect fans, why not do right by us?

As for the Sequel that is not really a sequel, I will rent it and try it on my brother's X-Box. It had better be mind blowing if they want my future patronage. It would help if there would at LEAST be some tying up of loose ends regarding the DA:O playthrough's conclusions.

There are actually plenty of good reasons for a person to let him live if it were real life.  After all, you are going against an army of darkspawn led by an archedemon in a land at civil war being controlled by a man who insists there is no blight and that the Wardens are traitors.  You need every well trained allie you can find!  It's sort of a calculated risk. 

Besides, I find Zevran pretty easy to forgive as he was a slave who would be brutily tortured and or slain by his fellow Crows if he did not earn the Masters his worth.  He jumps at the chance to escape that fate.

its not a risk i would take. alot is riding on me and if i get killed by an assassin i could have killed fereldan is doomed.

That's actually not as bad as the Eamon disagreement we had awhile back which was basically this:
Him: I don't see why anyone would want to poison such a pure-hearted man as Eamon.

Seriously, I'd feel more threatened by Sten than Zev. At least, Zev attacked you while in full possession of his faculties and later explained himself. Sten just flew into a blind rage because he couldn't find his sword. I understand why his sword was so important to him, but what's to stop him from doing it again if - heaven forbid - his sword got broken in a fight or something?

And yeah, Wynne IS technically an abomination. I always found that very ironic.

Anyways...what would this world be without trolls? Not as entertaining, certainly.

On a random sidenote, I encountered a lulzy glitch in DA:O yesterday. I ran into a random encounter with some Redcliffe soldiers fighting some darkspawn and an ogre. My Warden went for the ogre to make the job easier for the rest of the team. She killed it and got the finishing animation...but so did Alistair, at the exact same time! I was literally going "what the hell, Alistair? this one was mine!"
