Man, I wish the mods never cracked down on OT thread content. I liked it when the Zev thread was a party thread that merely revolved around his fandom, rather than having to talk about Zev directly in almost every post. *sigh*

So, I picked the prompt because I find Morrigan's reaction to Zevran interesting. Morrigan doesn't get along with most of the party, I suppose, but I understand the why better for most of them.

Looking over their banters, it seems to be Zevran's chatty flattery that sets her off. She likes to be alone (or at least is most comfortable that way) so maybe it's the verbal equivalent of that horribly intrusive handshake that she despises?

I admit I do partly suspect that he bothers her on a symbolic level. He's an inhabitant of that world of glamour and gilt surfaces that Morrigan has been taught to despise, but is curious about anyway. Both of those things could come out as dislike - the disdain just pours right out, naturally, but making Morrigan feel anything she's not ready for - even unwanted curiosity (or maybe just a hint of self-consciousness?) - is a good way to get the sharp end of her tongue.

For his part, Zevran's accustomed to working with people he expects to backstab him at some point. Morrigan's up to something? Hurrah, how nice. No point in letting the future spoil a perfectly good thing now, eh? I suspect he'd just put some Concentrated Magebane in a back pocket and keep an eye out for a double-cross. Business as usual for a Crow.

I think Morrigan's dislike of Zevran comes from several sources, including what Corker's already pointed out. I might even amp up "unwanted curiosity" to "reluctant attraction". While she vehemently states that she wouldn't let Zevran touch her, she does admit, if a male Warden chooses Zevran over her, that "he has his charms". I could see her becoming extra annoyed about his flirty banter if she found him at all attractive. XD;

I tend to see Zev as very perceptive, given his profession and his observations throughout the game. He's already let on that he suspects Morrigan of being up to something, and I would think she doesn't like that, either. I believe he's the only one who will tell her that to her face (although I don't think it'd be news to her that Alistair and Wynne don't trust her XD) -- but I don't think she'd be all that worried about Alistair or Wynne doing more than feeling suspicious. Perhaps in her mind, Zevran just might take things into his own hands if he thinks she poses a danger to the Warden, just as she might feel compelled to do if Zev followed up on his initial attack (which Morrigan just seems to be waiting for).

Edit: Page 200 coming up!  Should we do something special?

I'm working on it, my last photoderp wasn't Dragon Age, but I think I'm doing hair better now so~ yay. :3 Glad you're doing better, and that stuff worked out. Zevrinjection was awesome, I stumbled across a few in my pictures folder the other day and got another lol out of them.

I've done some Fenris stuff, but Zevran will always be my favorite in this fandom, and one of my favorites in general. He's just too awesome. :3

Yay toolset, they're good wallpaper size too, I tossed the first one on mine. And lol Oghren puking over the side. XD Stay classy, Oghren.

True that, it makes it hard to post when not actively producing Zev stuff... we've discussed pretty much everything about him into the dirt a dozen times. And now that so many have moved on to DA2 stuff, there's even less.

Being the party thread was so true to the character, too. You know Zev would want his thread hoppin' and chock full of naked people. >o This is obviously why Antiva is superior.

(This is why the Zev prompts are awesomesauce, it keeps folks making stuff. :3 I just fail at timelimit stuff. I mean, that WIP above is at seven hours. I don't do quick. >_> I may start doing non-entries once in a while or something.)

I forget what Raistlin looks like... Maybe they can see each other through a mirror?  But that would indicate parallels between the characters I don't think exist.  Though it's been ages since I read Dragonlance.

Hahaha, no, that'd be... no. XD They're nothing alike, I just want to draw them in the same shot. I have no problem crossing over fandoms in these things, considering I'll probably be playing both characters on a single Multiverse game in the future. If I think I can keep up with so many characters, anyway.

Hell, I owe someone on the kinkmeme a "Raistlin teleports into the Circle Tower pre-Origins" fill just as soon as I think I can grok words enough to write again.

I'm guaranteed to do that fill, if nothing else for the sheer value of breaking of every single Templar's head. Of course, they may try to make him tranquil, but I expect that will be near the end of the fill.
