Edit: forgot to mention that I finished it three minutes before my alarm (set to 3 hours) went off, ha! Though I'd need at least one more hour to be fully satisfied with it.

Train the Warden, train Leliana, train Sigrun if you like.  (Maker, yes, Zevran/Sigrun wisecracks, please!)  Swap pointers with Nathaniel Howe.  (*My* epilogue says Zevran stuck around to train Wardens, and I believe it!)  Ffff, try to train a non-rogue for the lolz. Successfully train a non-rogue for the crack!  Stories, art, photomanips, CGI, dioramas.

You know you want to make a diorama.  Do eet.

Phew, just in time! I got a bit blocked writing it towards the end, (and it's not an diorama  ) but it's certainly better than nothing.

OMG you actually made a diorama!  And it's an awesome diorama!  With knife-fighting monkey feet and the Warden's knee bent just so and Zevran flying through the air.  I adore it. 

Klidi's The Assassin's Secret

Oh, poor Arcane Warriors.  They get a little magical muscle and suddenly they think they can waive the Dex-based attack score.  XD  I like the interplay between the two of them, Zevan thinking of him as a 'crazy kid,' the teasing back and forth about skill and locks and Airam getting cocky with his lock-picking spell... and the sudden turn in tone at the end.  A nice twist.

Sushifer's Figurative Speech

I giggled my way through this, between the inappropriate interruptions, Leliana being incorrigible, the earnest Warden, and then the really, really bad similies on assassination.  XD  I love a good spot of bard/Crow rivalry and the Warden served as something of a straight man to anchor it.  Well done!


Picking a winner from the two competitive entries is hard!  I really liked them both, for different reasons.  But since I have to pick... Congratulations, Sushifer!  When I say I giggled, I meant it - I literally laughed out loud, and that made an impression.

We have two first-time participants, one of whom gets to make the next prompt.  Bitenomnom is heads, Klidi is tails...  *flips coin*  Heads it is.  Bitenomnom, you get to pick the next prompt.

As long as you need, but usually it's within a day or three.

The first page of the thread contains all the previous prompts (because jenovan is our awesome archival goddess!). Inspiration has come from Zevran's dialogue, plot gifts, skills, character arc, backstory, as well as prompts pairing him (not necessarily romantically!) with other companions, more generic themes like 'friendship' or 'holidays', and alternate universe scenarios. It's pretty wide open.

Prompt: Sneaking Past Dragons
"A high dragon? We're not planning on...actually fighting it, are we? Couldn't we just...sneak around it?"

Okay, I admit it, I have in mind hilarious slapstick comedy moments as Zevran, the Warden, and anyone else
who comes along with them attempt to sneak past a slightly less favorably placed Andraste on the mountain top in Haven. But perhaps, if that doesn't float your boat, Zev (or someone close to him) is sneaking past dragons of the more serious, metaphorical sort? 
Basically...anything involving Zevran and the sneaking past of dragons, however literally or figuratively you wish to interpret it. The sneaking need not be successful. =p

Any medium you’d like.

Time: Humm…three (3) hours.

Prize: I shall draw you something Zev-related! (Of your choice, I mean...within reason. XD)

Hmmm this thread looks interesting - How does this prompt thing work?

You give a topic to write about and we do it? The last one said 3 hours, does that mean you only have 3 hours to get it done?

This could be fun - although I am writing so many Zev things at the moment my head might explode if I try to do another - but perhaps in the future I should like to try...

How will it work for me though being on the other side of the world - can I have an ext on time... so I have a chance to wake up and at least read the prompt b4 its all over? LOL

No matter if not - I still enjoy reading the others - gr8 work ppls *thumbs up*

@Tryynity - Anything written/drawn/glued/composed/choreographed/mimed/stitched/etc within 3 hours is competition material You can still submit stuff that took longer, as non-entries (or indeed submit anything as a non-entry if it's on topic). If you win you gets a priiize (if any noted), otherwise, no matter if it was an entry or non-entry, you may be eligable to come up with the next prompt. That's decided by whoever has the lowest number of prompts given in the past.

Those people do not share my faith. I don't remember ever reading in my bible where Jesus said to hate anyone. (but, that's going off topic) I love me some Zev!

I have no idea who this Westboro are - I take it they are some fanatics that are against homosexuals? - but not allowing someone to say their opinions doesn't strike me as a shining example of tolerance, no matter in how funny way it is done.
It will just give them more weapons, now they can say how the bad bad gays didn't allow them to preach, the truth, God's word or whatever it is they're preaching and create more animosity and fanatics.

But back to my Zev and his beloved male mage - here is my entry for the prompt. It is loosely based on one of the chapters that will be in my main story, Failed to Fail.
