Hullo, Tellervo! Lovely to see you back around. I've been reading through your fic recently, actually, and have really been enjoying it. You're a fabulous writer.

This thread's been rather active recently! Hopefully it'll stay nice and busy

Also, pffft at that screenshot. I love how the warden's head is even tilted ever so slightly to Zevran for optimum whispering. I can just imagine Alistair getting all red and flustered and trying not to look around XD

Oh, and I almost forget: I have some more Zev-doodles to share. Here's my latest sketchdump:

I've  basically been tinkering about with Zev's face, trying to  to get the knack of drawing him in a way that a) looks good while still looks like him. And I think I’m getting there! Infusing him with a little bit extra of my more usual cartoony style (eg the bust at the top centre or the shirt-ruined crazy murder knife Zev) seems to do the trick nicely. Also featured are my Mahariel and a Brosca lady whose design I've been tinkering about with. I think a bust of my Mahariel snuck in there as well, because I have nowhere else to put him at the moment

I saw this pic in another thread and I immediately thought of Zev (the tats O.o)
This is a combo of things to me...
1. Zev after hanging around with Airam too long has began taking to his bizzare ritual of hair assassinating, and clearly something is in the water coz Zev is all beefed up and the Mabari Hound shrunk to the size of a hood ornament  
Thought it was funny enough to maybe share - but idk it could be just my quirky sense of humour LOL

Ah, but it\\s clearly one of those leashes embedded with lyrium, that changes it's length as needed... hm, I wonder if they used some similar spell on the dog... big during the battle, compact during travels - easier to carry around and also eats less (though that's maybe not so good, now they must actually eat Alistair's stew...) ;o)

Ive seen some lovely artwork of Zevran and his tatoos that Bioware left out *boo Bioware* * yay artists*
Kyerra for reasons explained at the beginning of her story does not have the customary Dalish tatoos but later after their married Zevran gives her one...
Still undecided as to where and what the design is (except that its kinda a Z shape *grynz* ) - Im so not the artist type... so Ill most likely pinch someone elses ideas... oops did I say that out loud

Okay - signed up and found all the authors from this thread I could - If I didnt find you post your FanFict link in this thread and Ill find you - Ive thoroughly enjoyed reading everybodies blogs this week - I am trynnity on FF I dont know if you get notifications when you get favourited.... I have to wait a few days before I can upload my work... thats kinda good coz I have to copy and paste it all back into Word Docs I think to upload - I delete everything once its recorded on my blog.

I'd say - dont know coz its too light fitting   but I get ur drift - they actually look like they are fighting for the "front row position"  or is it who wants to jab him first in the butt.... with the swords !!! 

I cant get any good action shots - thats why most of my pics are during conversations, bytes, and lots and lots of freakin kisses - poor boy's lips are chafed

Sorry this took forever -- first my two electromagnetism problems I had to get done took me three hours, then the internet died. Also I might have spent way too long hemming and hawing about who to pick.




 Prompt: Sneaking Past Dragons
"A high dragon? We're not planning on...actually fighting it, are we? Couldn't we just...sneak around it?"

There were four crazy-awesome entries for this one! I seriously have my work cut out for me here (picking a winner, I mean), jeez. 

Klidi set up a dramatic scene from the start in Everything I Am, full of confusion and chaos. I loved the addition of the letter, and that Zevran (of course!) read it before he was supposed to. Getting a look at Zev’s thoughts was insightful and a great way of tying in both a literal and more metaphorical interpretation of the prompt. Its urgent tone came across strong. And of course I have to mention (and after reading the comments): I’d wondered if that was what Zev drank! It gave me a shiver thinking about it. Very powerful.

Tryynity dashed in with STEALTH IT IS!, a hilarious bout of devious Zev antics as he, the Warden, Alistair, and Dog attempt to make their way past Andraste without being caught (well—almost ). I was giggling the whole way through as Zev repeatedly pulled Alistair’s chain…topped off with Zevran’s wiliest of tricks at the end! Short but sweet (or maybe…not so sweet!) and full of laughs!

Hilde’s entry, Impulse, similarly involved Andraste, but instead we find Zevran, the Warden, Alistair, and Morrigan sneaking to her (just for a peek!). Elam’s spontaneous flirting made me smile, and the dialogue was so snappy—Zev’s good humor and those hilarious little bits of banter between Morrigan and Alistair were perfect.

Sushifer’s Saviour included a neat choice of POV and much excellent imagery. =D All that very apt description—I felt like I was there! Also, I particularly enjoyed the repeating mention of inspection of Zevran’s boots (naturally! What else?) and I think my heart skipped a beat when Zev jumped in front. The final tone rang somber, buuut was also so very adorable. Loved it from start to finish.

…Of course you guys have to make it all difficult for me on my first time doing this.  How do I pick? Yeesh! I’m pulling my hair out over here! I think…uhm…hmm…I…shall…go with…Klidi's entry! For me it was super close between that and Sushifer’s (though I did love them all!) but I figure, since Sushifer just won…

Whose turn will it be next? Klidi was in the coin-flip with me last time, but Tryynity is also new…I think it would be reasonable for Klidi to go next? But someone more experienced with this please give the official verdict. XD

I know, right? Haha. I think it was her tilted head that made me think, "Oh, they've gotta be whispering to each other." XD

Whoa, awesome sketches. I am jealous. I myself find Zev tricky to draw as well, and need more practice. Your drawings, though, are looking excellent. I agree that those two you mentioned to seem to look the most Zev-ish, though I also love his "explanation/boasting face" in the one with Brosca (who also looks awesome, by the way). And the bottom-rightmost Zev cracked me up. I want to know what caused him to make that face.
Also, if I hadn't mentioned it when I commented on the last drawings you posted, I love your style.

Make it true.

Make Zevran do something - dangerous, sexy, funny, crazy, (or all of it combined) - whatever you prefer - that will become a legend, talked about for years or even decades all over the country.

It doesn't have to be set in past and in Antiva, it can be during the Blight (perhaps Warden challenged him?) or even years later (perhaps he was just bored or wanted to prove himself he can still do it?), but it has to be something widely known, and he should survive or else no need for warnings, right?

Time: 3 hours

Deadline: Wednesday 21. 9., 12 :00 pm GMT 


Prize: I'll write you something
