I looked at Corker's blog for a fan-fic link but could not find it amongst ALL the others - OMG  &  again Corker likes to write - I think Id have to set aside a year to read all that.

EXTREMELY interested in the Zev module that didnt get launched - have an idea myself about more Zev stuff to play - since I dont think Bioware are gunna make it - not sure about the rights to use their characters and such...

but I think most modders have moved on to other things - maybe after DA3 happens will see...

  Most of them are short, from prompts here or whatever.  On my "Short Fics" index, my favorites are the "Mama's Babies" right at the top.  That's a much less comprehensive list.  Of the poetry, "Hallbera" is my favorite (although also the most challenging to read).

I keep driving past this, and never remembered to get a shot until today. Funny how Zevran can invade all aspects of life/thought after all this time. Obvious reference aside, this bar always makes me smile. Thought I would share.

Crow Bar - with the evening lighting on, I could see Zev sitting on the fence with a good glass of red wine.

Thank you for the compliment, but--which one?  There's a DA:O and a DA2.  I'm more interested in the DA:O, but the DA2 is commissioned, so its taking precedence right now.  Though honestly, I really want to work on N&A more at the moment, since so much BAMF is coming up....

I have put up some of my writing now on FF.net - I would really luv ppl to read and comment - I luv positive comments but I really more after GENTLE critiscim in an effort to hone my skills further - I luv to write and I know I often miss the mark - so feel free *gulps*

@ Ejolslin - you need to do more -  your work & Hilde's, Charsen's and Techwench's are permantly stored now - Im still looking for more. I cant say enuff how much modders have improved my time with this game - truly great work !!!

I have the Toolset but have not dared open it yet .... oneday perhaps

@bitenomnom  Awww, thankyou so much for your kind words! I'm really flattered you like my doodles (and my prompt entry, come to think of it) I agree, Zevran's face is surprisingly hard to capture. Something about the arrangement of his features is sort of... subtly awkward, somehow. But the more I practice, the closer I get, heh. I just scanned in another sketch of that Brosca, in fact, sort of comparing and contrasting her to an Aeducan I've also been designing (and there's more Mahariel, but no Zevran, I'm afraid) I'll dump it here though, in case you're interested.
And you did a great job judging, IMO.

@tellervo  I've been reading your post DA:O chains/nations and ages series. I didn't even realise you'd written anything DA2 >.<

hello! I've spent half Saturday reading WWN, and I love Alessar. I will leave review on FFN (I'm Ventisquear there).

And... N&A? That sounds familar... *looks at Tellervo's signature* OMG, you're Raidho! You write Cadryn! 
Four months of impatient waiting for an update... I was sure you abandoned it and it was quite frustrating and depressing, to see another great story about Zevran abandoned because of DA2. I'm so glad to hear that you want to continue!

Hmmm - how old is Zevran does anyone know?

- Ive always thought of him between 21-25 but maybe Im wrong.... the weathered face is put down to an unsheltered exhistence rather than age.

- Alistair about 18-21 in my thinking - the bum fluff on the chin makes me think he doesnt need to really shave yet.

Not really important I guess - but Im curious - Im so bad with ages even IRL

Short answer is, nobody knows. The toolset has ages, but they're unreliable.

I think I've heard everything from 24 to 38 floated for Zevran, with most people coming in on the late twenties or early thirties side. Twenty-eight strikes me as being a popular number.

And Alistair does usually get pegged as late teens/early twenties.

@Sushifer: Oooh! Nice sketches. =D I'll say again that from what I've seen, that Brosca seems super awesome. Also, absurd amounts of envy for your nose-drawing skillz. (Well, and everything else, but I can't stop looking at those beautiful noses. And eyebrows. And lips. Argh. XD) I wonder what it is about Zev's features that makes him so tough to draw...?

Okay - thanx Corker I guess I wasnt too far off then - its no biggie but it helps to know.
Anyway - I finally killed Zev in the tent - yep I was afraid this

I downloaded a bunch of Mods last night and after a couple of trips to the tent I came back and he was gone from camp   *crys*  

I re-loaded without saving and he has resurrected - LOL

I suspect Alistair - coz he has been giving me eviilll looks ever since I dumped him and jumped over to Zev's side of the camp   cant help myself .... 

So if its not the mod - Blame it on Alistair !


EDIT :  Deletes all the new mods and discovers it still happening but only with human noble - SO IT IS ALISTAIR !!!!!    GRRRR    <_<

Does anyone here use DAZ -  and if they do is there a Zevran model - Ive googled but cant find any.

Ive seen some lovely Daz Creations - I played with Daz years ago but might consider firing it up again if I can get some nice poses happening  

or

Im curious if you can pose Zevran using the Toolset - like does he have the bones and such that you can manipulate and take pics.

You can absolutely pose models in the toolset. Charsen (one of our old regulars) used to treat us with stuff like Zevran chilling in a tree (I think... Taliesen was standing on the ground?). And he actually posted a series of such pictures in this newer version of the fan thread, some months back. ...which I totally cannot find.

Anyhoo. I have no idea how one *does* it, but it can be done. There's a forumite errant_knight who I believe illustrates her fanfic with posed toolset shots. It's pretty neat.

@Zev's age: I also see him as around 27-28. I believe it's the toolset that says 24, and while he *has* been through a lot from a very young age, that seems on the youngish side to me.

Haven't read these yet (I will as soon as I can though!) but that description of the second one reminded me of how I was actually all right with Zev flirting with Hawke. XD In my head my Warden gave him the okay to sleep around while he was gone, for various reasons. So when that happend I was like, "Aha! This is exactly how it should be!" (Of course, Hawke had his LI with him, so sadly he never really even got the chance to sleep with Zev...not that he didn't try. XD) </random side-note>

I'll chime in on the age thing too: I always imagined him to be in his early thirties (maybe late twenties). I didn't know the Toolset had him at 24...that does seem awfully young.

Toolset has him at 24? yay, I almost got it right. He's 25 in my headcanon... somehow I can't imagine Crows living very old, so if he was above thirty, someone of his abilities would be Master already.

Also, I always thought he would be flirting, but he'd never really cheat on his Warden - after Taliesen, he refuses sex until he's sure there's some future for the two of them, and for me it always meant that sex is no more just casual thing for him... Also, Airam is quite jealous. ^^
