Belated congrats on winning, Tryynity! Oh, and I'm definitely going to enter, don't worry. I'd be very cross with myself if I passed up an opportunity to write about the Dalish and Zevran.

And while I'm on my own stuff, have a little Zevran bust I just finished.



IMO it's definitely the best and most Zevran-ish drawing I've done of him so far. It's rewarding to feel I'm slowly getting the knack of his rather tricky face.

Oh, and on the subject of male elf heights: I always thought they were a little shorter than human females, Zevran included. Most of my screenshots look that way, anyway, though it may just be the angles. But using the proving bridge to double check is an excellent idea!

EDIT: Huh. Apparently you can't resize images on BSN. They're automatically just expanded/contracted to fit the post. Or I can't get it to work, which is very possible Still, you can always click through to see the ever so slightly less blurry version, and it probably only really matters to me, anyway.

LOL no worries and here I was thinking it was unexplored - I looked thru the list at the beginning to check but must of missed it - I proof read EXACTLY like that - post stuff and then see all the errors - I am going to get me a BETA reader Ive decided ...

Ive been busy too - so it prolly good Im not entering this week - I cannot think of a prize - I can maybe write a poem/song but those are rare for me - I wish I could draw unless you wanna wait until I get the courage to look at the toolset and do something there... could be awhile though

My next videos I want to create via - toolset I think there will be much more scope for a different look.

i wanted to say that i like your thread very much and hope to have many nice hours reading all your thoughts and stories about Zev. I fear you won't read any fanfic from me here because i'm not an english native speaker. But please go on.

btw a question:
at the moment, which combination of Zev mods would you advice to use? I'm still experimenting with variable combos of DialogueTweak, ZDF, ZevranKisses, Gatekisses and ZevranRomance.
ZevranWedding is only for dalish as i regret and Zevring/ZevranAsap are allways used by me.

@Zaxarus: Hello! Welcome! I think there's something on the first page of this thread related to mods. I'm by no means an expert in the area, so that's about all the advice I can give, sadly.

@Sushifer: XD Bahaha, yes, I'm sure he would approve. (Goodness, how did I not even see that when I wrote it? Heh.) Drawing some shirtless Zevran sounds like a good idea...hmmm.

@ Zaxarus - These are what I have going at present - I suggest do at least one playthrough without any - so you see how game is and so can spot any problems.  Then add one mod at a time being careful to read each README file and following instructions.  I am fairly sure all these mods are working ok - there is a Tavern one which I forgot to add Ill put it up later.

To the armor problem: for me it works good to (if i start a new game with armor mod already installed):
- quit game and remove armor mod
- start game, ignore the "mod needed"-warning
- save and quit game another time
- install mod anew and start game

Many armor mods also have a runscript to add the armor set.
Myself i use the Rasana Armory Trader and so circumvent any "new game" problems.

About your mod list: as far as i have read ZDF is compatible with ZevRomance and DT, but Zevromance not with DT, so i have to choose. My question was also more about which mods do you really like and dont want to miss, because every mod has other fixes, other scenes, many i find awesome. Yesterday i tried the Zevran Kisses with my new dwarven female character, very sweet.

So, i'm back to page 13, 200 pages to go.

Yes - I am eternally grateful to the modders who increased the playability of Zevran - I somehow think he was a last thought throw in for some reason...

If I can ever get the team I desire I would like to continue where Bioware left off and create my damn DLC - free of course

... and yes Ive uninstalled - reinstalled many times it doesnt seem to work... going to start a whole new game with everything un-installed and start afresh...

I love your Zevran youth stories. I'm yet finished reading the "sweet poison" story and like the idea how he wasn't allways the "assassin superstar", that there was a time he had to learn the ways and sometimes with pain. Hope to see more as the pages pass.

Zaxarus - hello! And I hope we will yet convince you to write. If it's only language... I'm not native English speaker either, but if you find some awesome and patient beta like mine is, it will in fact help you improve it.

Mods - I always choose Zevran Romance Scenes. DT is not compatible with some other mods I use. I only used it in one playthrough because I heard it fixes the after-tent dialogue if Zev is in Love, because normally he would say the same 'what now' thing. I was greatly disappointed, Zev didn't really say anything, there was one crappy line of text that appeared on the scene, it was pathetic. I changed it for ZRS after that, all scenes there are lovely but the best one is after Captured.

If you use ZRS, you don't need Zevran Kisses any more. I also use Randezvous at the Tavern, and Better Sex Cutscenes (yeah I'm a naughty girl).

And I always use Assassination mod - with high cunning Zev can sneak on the enemies and kill them in one hit and remain hidden. That's how imagine real assassin would work so it's must-have for me.

I spent hours on making Zev look as I want - basically the same but younger and bit improved - and then I spent more hours trying to find armour that would look good on him (I can't do anything but morphs in the toolset xD) and I usually use Rogue Items - that tight black leather T-shirt and pants are absolutely awesome on him.
And now also the new mod Kirkwall Exports - Champ Rogue is also great on him.

I forgot to mention the Tavern one - thats good too - we need an Orzammar - smexytime in the Royal Bedrooms FTW - cmon am I the only one to think of that hahaha

I have to say I fully give KUDOS to ppl who write in another language than their own... I was only saying the other day to a potential BETA reader how hard I find writing down what I see in my head - I see/live my stories first and sometimes I just cant express it in the words I would like - I find it exhausting... so I reckon it is so much harder to find words in another language....

- also English is the worst language of all to speak in when you compare it to Greek for e.g I know four words that describe the different loves... in English its love for everything in as opposed to :- agápe (true love), éros (passion) , phileo (deep friendship), and storge (family type affection).

So I think other languages are perhaps better to write in personally - but I cant do that either

Heh, BSC is one of the all time favourite at the Nexus - and yet sometimes it seems nobody uses it.

I like English, I love the sound of it. I have this very weird thing about how the language sounds.
The only problems are bloody articles. And prepositions, all wrong! xD

About writing: i'll give it a try, but i fear it will be 30min writing, 2 hours translating, 8 hours editing.

It is like that for me. Sometimes I spend hours just to find English equivalent of a word or a phrase. And people wonder why it takes me three weeks to write the new chapter. But then when I get the review and I see people really understood what I wanted to say, it's even more rewarding.

So true. And as I'm a woman, I prefer to look at handsome men, not half-naked women. Right now I use Grey Warden armours for my PC and Alistair, Rogue Items or Kirkwall Exports on Zevran and Morrigan, Shangrila dress on Wynne, Wing of Lilith on Leliana. Utiility Sack to change their properties how I want them and Universal Dye Kit to change the colours, if possible.

Utility sack excluding i've seen these armor mods on dragonnexus, but i'm a little bit deterred because i allways read "you have to get theeeeese mods also to see this set right".
okay, it's 10 times worse with the face mods, i've to admit.
And as a man i like revealing clothes on the female companions (or on my female heros), but measured. otherway i coul also use the no-armor hack instead.
to correct the last sentence: i could not use that mod. i think i couldnt stand the smirk on my wifes face then.

@ Zaxarus - I am sure you don't need anything extra for Kirkwall Exports, it's a simple dazip file. I'm not so sure about GW armour and Rogue Items, but I think they're also just dazip files and don't require anything else. I'm too lazy to install mods that require a lot of changes and adjustments to work.

But I see these requirements mostly for morph files, and I don't use those anyway - I make my own morphs, because I rarely like any of them.

I can't use revealing mods - it totally kills immersion for me. Armour that leaves the most vulnerable parts of the body naked... is not an armour at all. I could accept that mages and rogues or assassins would use more comfortable clothes that wouldn't jingle at their each steps, but even they wouldn't leave their chests and abdomens uncovered. I even had a mental problem even with No Helmet Hack, but those helmets and cowls are so ugly I coulnd't stand looking at them.

@Tryynity - BSC, Tavern, ZRS, then there is Pearl mod, but I don't like that one because most of the options there are threesomes and all my Wardens are too old-fashioned and narrow-minded for that.
Zevran Kisses is already included in ZRS, I'm not sure if Gate Kisses ads anything extra if you have ZDF and ZRS.
