Distance is not the only important thing here.

Don't forget they're travelling on foot, some of them in heavy armour, carrying their weapons, tents and backpack, and Wynne is quite old. In some areas it's possible to say these things are in the Bodahn's wagon, but there are some places where Bodahn wouldn't be able to go, like forest or mountains.

Plus there's quality of roads, especially in rainy periods - roads in middle age were little more than dirt tracks, they would be all one big pool of mud in the winter. It would make travelling much more difficult and uncomfortable.
All this things would greatly influence travelling time.

The wiki is not 100% reliable; your profile says you have the game on PC, so I'd recommend getting the toolset if you want to mine in-game dialogue. I imagine the toolset also includes access to all the codex entries, although I've never used it for that; I usually search the wiki for "codex entry (item of interest)." As far as I know, the codex entries are all copied correctly from the game. Other pages on the wiki can include a fair amount of fan interpretation, and it's not always obvious what information is directly supported by canon and what's not.

There are also some remarks in the toolset that don't appear in the game. I know Zevran has a couple of Antivan words in there, like 'Ma feca!' (a curse), but I don't know about Sten.

Edit: Here's most of Zevran's toolset comments. There are two Antivan bits in the battle cry section, but I might as well post the lot if people haven't seen it before

Hm. Do you have any idea for good swear in Antivan other than 'brasca'? I use brasca when Zev is annoyed or angry, but it just doen't fit for situation when he is awed, or surprised. Something like 'Maker!" but more Zevranish?

Edit: I went trought that list of comments, and I've never heard some of those. I played DAO countless times and I always have Zev in my party, but he never ever said those two comments in Antivan, or 'introduction' of darskpawn to Warden. I've heard about that one so I paid extra attention, but he didn't say it.

Is there anything I can do to make him say those things, enabling it somehow in toolset?

@Klidi - Not all of them are voiced, I believe. They exist only as text, which is why we never hear them.

Edit: I believe there are some zip files somewhere with all of Zevran's voiced comments? Maybe someone can flash a link for you?

Tryynity: Zevran’s poetry

I especially liked your comparison of Kyerra’s features with Zevran’s memories of Antiva. They were very romantic.

I think this to be the best haiku in our poetry discussion. But I missed the other part of the prompt (“Describe a scene”).

Bitenomnom: Elfroot is bitter

The whole story as a poem was awesome and I liked the constant shifting between Zevran and his grey warden. You made me smile.

Hilde: Lions of the horizon

I liked the poem and still more Zevran’s explanation of it. As Klidi I’m glad you didn’t doom-romance them. The story reminds me of Leliana’s story about love.

Tklivory: Then it was over

This story was a very passionate one. And brave to select a whole other theme than most. It was truly touching.

Sushifer: There once was a young dalish warden

The story and string was really great. And the explanation that a bedding theme is crucial to limericks …

Very sweet, Klidi. I always thought your Airam/Zevran romance to be the most beautiful.

To integrate Wynne was a absolute brilliant idea. I’m sure – even she would never admit it – Wynne liked your rhymes.

Some other stories were a little bit more touching, but I think Sushifer had the best success in capturing a scene blended with poems of a Zevran-like nature. I assume every reader would say: yes, this is Zevran.

 

The task to open the next prompt goes to Tklivory, I think.

Ha! That's pretty awesome, I always figured the OP would never come back. 

Glad to have helped spread some Zevran love! That thread turned into something crazy-amazing and spawned many a great friendship.

Pearl of Wisdom

Interpret this as you will!  Whether this refers to a moment of wisdom dispensed by (or to) our favorite Antivan, or an excursion to our favorite Denerim establishment, or anything in between, I want to see the creativity within our community!  Have fun!

Media: Any which way but loose (errr, I mean, anything and everything)

Prize:  Not being an artist, I've come up with a couple of different alternatives from which to choose:
1) A DA:O .mor/mrh/mop file designed to your specifications (or at least as close as I can get it) - sorry, PC users only!
2) Copyediting of a piece of your own writing (max word limit: 200K) and conversion to eBook format of your choice
3) A lovely stick figure drawing (ummm... like I said, I'm not an artist)
4) Unstinting praise of a job well done
