I really don't know which drugs tklivory uses, but i want some of them. Now i have to clean my keyboard from the spilled coffee.

MLP. mmm, i'm a geek for sure but that ... it's hard.
On the other hand i survived cartoon watching with my son.

Zaxarus had been my second greater rp-char and survived half a dozen pen&paper and 4-5 online-games. He is on of my two always used chars in online games (the second being my medicus radumar) and in most forums my avatar.

Anyway, I took the lyrics from Corker's Ridiculously Awesome entry this week, and recorded it with vocals and light percussion.  Given my time limitations, it isn't as polished as I'd like, but I still want to share it with you (plus it makes a nice change of pace, right?) 

And Corker, I love you sooooo much!  You is so ridiculously awesome!

To download the song, go to the Minstrels of Thedas Project Files Page and download the file called 'Lost_Zevran_Corker.zip'.  You will need to unzip the file, but then it should play in any media player on a computer.

That...was a fantastic use of a fantastic voice on some fantastically written lyrics, and so props to both you (tklivory) for your lovely interpretation and of course to Corker for (unwittingly?) providing the content. It seems unfair that you're not considering it an entry -- but of course I can see why you say that; it does make sense and if it came down to me choosing this piece I'd have to declare you and Corker...co-winners, or some such, which might get tricky. XD

Oh! And I want to mention that I loved the little percussive bit as well.

my brain farts all the time and little creative projects get spawned ahahaha - Id offer to harmonize (alto tenor) but doing the voice audition was hard enuff - I am unhappy with my recording studio or rather the lack thereof

Corker, I hope you won’t be offended if I don’t include your “not an entry” bit. (XD I had to look up what the heck you meant…I am not familiar with the show!)

Soooo, what all was there this week? Well, a lot!


Corker’s The Journey Home
            Short but sweet—very good poetry. I loved the rhythm and found my head nodding along with it as I read. Nice interpretation of the prompt, in general, as well!


Klidi’s Lost and Found
            Yipes, I’d opt for the three-hour backtrack from the start! Haha. Aww, poor Airam! I like this realistic look at the sort of hiking through terrain the party doubtless did all the time… At least they were all able to learn a lesson from the experience, and hopefully Air will be a little more insistent with his map-related questions henceforth, hehe. And at least Zevran was there for him throughout the whole ordeal.


Danijou’s A Moral Compass Pointing South
            Oooh, wow. I felt awful not only for Amell but also for Zevran here. I love your interpretation of the prompt (Zev is lost in so many ways) and the realism of the situation. Its tone of—desperation, I suppose?—really struck me. Awesome stuff. (I hope you continue to do the prompts! =D I really like your writing!)
            (In response to the question you’d asked when posting your entry, the “number of prompts” figure is how many prompts you’ve judged so far. So since this is my second time doing it, from here on out on my entries I’ll put “Prompts: 2”…up until it’s my turn again, and so on.)


Tryynity’s AWOL [non-entry]
            Excellent idea for a music video that I think is very fitting to the prompt theme. I only wish that you would’ve been able to make it! I think your vision for it fits both the song and Zevran really well.

            What can I say? I am so very jealous of your singing skills. That was a lovely rendition of Corker’s lyrics! I hope we can look forward to more musical entries in the future!

 
Hilde’s Turned Around [non-entry]
            D’aww. It was cute (but so mean! Stop teasing us!) for Zev to set Elam straight and insist on doing things right, so to speak. (I have to admit I was sort of hoping they’d realize at the end they were instead having this discussion in someone else’s room, as a continuation of the theme of them being lost. XD But.) Anyway, I very much enjoyed the story. I’d agree that this seems to be just as much about “found” as it is about “lost.” ^^ Nicely done!


Sushifer’s Adrift
            Oh man, nice dialogue—I like how it shows so much of Zevran and Taliesin’s characters throughout the piece. I was delighted, and then frightened (eep, raging drunken Taliesin!), and then delighted again. This seems like exactly the sort of thing that would happen to Zev in his youth…what a story, indeed. XD

 

…All right, so now for the tough part. I guess I should be glad that the non-entries are non-entries because they help me narrow things down a bit! Haha. Uhmmmm…ooh…hmm…goodness, this is difficult. I think that the winner shall be…

Danijou with A Moral Compass Pointing South! I really love how you interpreted the prompt, and I thought the idea in general was very original and interesting. It was definitely a tugging-on-one’s-heartstrings sort of tale.
