@Zaxarus: Just got your review on FF.net, and since I can't respond there, I'd like to thank you for commenting on it here. ^^ In response to what you said, she does definitely have a lot of maturing to do and I really look forward to writing it. Zevran, naturally, plays a big part in the process. =D

i'm kinda in a bad place at the moment... but things are possibly going to be looking up.  anyway...
-- the pinup illustration tutorial vid didn't get done.
-- nothing got done on the saw cross-crossover.
-- i did manage to waste a whole day writing, and the apocryphal hot jack/zevran torchwood explicit action scene got written.  it's in this thread.  (tryyn, you can skip it, but i did add another short scene in the Aftermath section, where zevran goes back to the apartment, that i think you will like.)  it's not explicitly explicit, but it's quite clear what's going on. there's all kinds of warnings plastered all over it and yadda yadda.
-- i found the perfect hair for poser zevran.  it's no longer available. :X  everything else went worse than that.


zevran wants to know when he gets to judge the holiday thingy, because he is eager to give me a bad score.

And... the amulet... the one Alistair gives after the Joining?  Rima doesn't exactly look like she goes in for random jewelry, so I'd guess that necklace has got to be significant...

You mean what actual colors, or what software did I use to color? If you're particularly interested in the colors themselves I suppose I could make up a little sheet with all of them. As far as the coloring process, I drew this in pencil, scanned it in, and then did the colors in Paint Shop Pro 9. *is oldschool like that* That answer your question? Sorry, I'm feeling kind of out of it right now so I have no idea if I'm making sense. XD Stupid cold...headache...thing.

Yep! Well, sort of. My idea is that this is armor the Zevran will give to her, and he knows how much her mabari means to her, so he has it put on the front like that. I dunno. XD Something to make it a little different. 
Yeah, I figure that one is the amulet from after the Joining...or else some other very useful amulet, because, you're right, she's not the wearing-random-jewelry sort. Haha.

@Bloodsong - I thought you were quiet on the forums and round about - hope ur ok. Bummer about the Poser hairstyle - I think I would not be truly happy anyway if it didnt look very close to DAO Zev - I love that face and his eyes, some expressions just make me melt *sighs*

There is nothing but the toolset for me - I enrolled in an animation/multimedia course for this year - but it looks like I wont be able to go...again so I will put that time into self study the toolset and become a master of it.

Dahlia Lynn did a great cutscene and there is a whole series called Warden's Fall - I could make a mini series perhaps.

P.S - I will comment on the Bloodsong forum later re: Torchwood - have to finish my work and then go shopping.

Its so damn hot and sticky today - everytime I decide to drag my butt into town the weather turns against me - grrrr

@bite:  no, not THE colours, the media.  yes, that's what i was asking.  i see the lines look like pencil, but the colouring doesn't.  so i was curious
  btw, i read the first chapter, and the front page blurb, and NOW i get it!  i was looking at the rose and the leaves there entwined on her weapons?  yeahhhhh NOW i get it!  cool!  bloodsong is intrigued by the cover art and blurb.  so now finish publishing the whole story! 

@klidi:  speaking of annoying people into publishing... where's the next chapter of failed to fail, eh?  ::POKE::

@tryyn:  yeah, having some personal issues.  the writing and hopefully-artwork are keeping me steady, though.  did you see my post on the wordpress blog with the sculptris zevran head morph?  well, i have to trash that one anyway because it doesn't work, but i DO think i can get reasonably recognizable.  when i have another (working) morph, i'll poke you and you can tell me what needs changing.  i can't put zevran's head mesh into poser, because then there won't be any facial animation morphs :/
   if my mom doesnt drag me off this weekend, i will try to do the video.

If I had more time I was going to go down the road of - Zinc cream on the nose, stubbies, and thongs (flip-flops) I could see how much fun I could have with the word thong - because of the difference between a USA thong and Aussie thongs + Zevran in the mix would be funny.... but meh it didnt happen.

Into the Tent

Wait, it’s not what you think! For this prompt, the Warden (or any other character!) has decided that the best way to learn what our favorite Antivan elf is all about is to observe his tent* and what he keeps in it while Zevran is away.  What does the character discover inside his tent? Something he/she likes? Something alarming? Zevran’s secret stash of [???]? It could be something very serious/shocking, that will alter the character’s perception of Zevran forever; it could be something sweet and touching; or it could just be something hilarious! And: Does the character get caught in the act?
(Alternatively, Zevran could be using this as a method of gathering information about the Warden or another character.)

* doesn’t necessarily have to be a tent, of course

Medium: Any!

Time: 3 hours (Unless you want to do something in some sort of crazy fancy medium that requires more time? If so, let me know so we can work something out or whatever!)

Prize: If you don’t mind possibly having to wait a while (since I've done such an abysmal job of getting Danijou's done in a timely fashion from forever ago; I need to finish it first!), I’ll draw you something! (I can also write you something, though I’ve never written something for someone else before. >_>)

Deadline: Saturday, January 14th at 10pm CST (which is Sunday at 4am GMT? I think? Somebody correct me if I’m wrong?)

Im finding it very hard to get into Sigrun's character for Corker's prompt - I have researched everywhere but there is so little on her. It may take longer for me to finish the Zecret Zanta - because I will have to do a run thru of Awakenings and actually recruit her lol.

I even thought to try and do a collage of her but there is so little real pics of her - I prefer not to use other ppls fanart.

Nah, I wouldnt mind - I liked awakenings and I totally missed Sigrun because I did not recruit her so I want to anyway for myself.

I was hoping there would be a fan thread or some FanFic that I could dredge some key character traits at least.

@ bite: hey hey, cool prompt idea!
this reminds me of playing around in the toolset to create the tent interior set for my headgames video. (dont ask me how they pack everything up and cart it around ferelden, though :X ;D ) and 'set decorating' the suite of rooms i made for vigil's keep. those are fun to do. though i guess it's only fun if you like setting up dollhouses and such. :X

@Bloodsong: Ooh, sounds interesting! I know next to nothing about using the toolset, so it definitely sounds impressive to me, anyway. It'd be really cool to see a "what's in Zev's tent?" type of deal made with the toolset! (Though probably such things are super-time-consuming...?) Maybe I should be glad I don't know how to do that stuff in the toolset...sounds like the sort of thing I'd sit down to do "just for a second" and then look up and find out it's five hours later...
