Edited because I'm in a whiny and grumpy mood today.

I wondered about Michael Jackson, I even found my glasses, but I still don't see the resemblance. But you know - after somoene at devArt confused Zevran with Sten and my purple-haired Air with Alistair, nothing can surprise me.

The Zevran Weekly Prompt!

     In honor of the annoucement and excitement/apprehension surrounding DA3, I propose:

Zevran & The Inquisition!

   Interpreted loosely or tightly.  Zevran foiling the Spanish Inquisition in a crossover?  Zevran interrogated by that chick interrogating Varric?  Maybe just any interrogation, with Zevran as the interrogator or as the interogatee!  (Bonus points for sadistic torture, cuz I'm in a sadistic mood.)
   We'll have 2 (or at least 1 1/2) weekends to work on it.


Time Limit:  3 hours for writing, 5 hours for graphics
Deadline:  October 1, 2012
Prize:  An autographed Zevran pin-up, or a still from any of my videos.

Hi all,

I just started playing Dragon Age a few months ago, and Zevran quickly became my favorite character. I've read a ton of stories on Fan Fiction and found two that I absolutely love - Failed to Fail and B&Z Bk I: Origins. Can anyone point me to other well written stories either on Fan Fiction or other websites?

@Klidi - I have also read every other Zevran story you wrote and they are ALL amazing! Please please write more!

Oh, and I also read Silver and Scarlet by Aroihkin - LOVE IT!!

@BloodsongVengeance - ::waves back:: Thanks for pointing out the ffnet group; I hadn't noticed it. This should keep me busy for awhile!

I would dearly love to be a writer, but I just don't have the talent. I'm not an artist either. But I love the weekly prompt entries. (I've been lurking for awhile.) Everyone here is so talented.

I wish I would have started playing DAO when it came out. I feel like the last one to arrive at the party. I've read all 280 pages of the thread and I wish I would have been around when the thread was so active. But considering how long the game has been out I guess I'm lucky there is still anyone around at all.

I've never played a game where I had such emotional reactions to the characters. Zevran in particular fascinates me, so much so that all of my characters end up with him as a li, even when I try to end up with someone else. And I'm the kind of person who likes to see all possible outcomes, but I can't bring myself to be mean to him, even knowing I can go back to a previous save. Every time I try I end up thinking "omg, I am so, so sorry! I take it all back!" as I rush to load an earlier save. Crazy, huh?

Well, if it's crazy, then I'm crazy, too. That's exactly what I do - every time I try to be mean to Zev, I end up loading previous save.
And DA has still lot of fans. Come and play with us at Cheeky Monkeys Dragon Age. It's a forum open for all fans of Dragon Age and Mass Effect. But it's necessary to register to join.

right now i'm working on a character (um, which is sorta on hiatus) that is very nice, and ends up with alistair, but they keep harping on zevran about him being bad and sleazy and a murderer, and he's very unhappy. those rotten onions help, too. ;D

and omg, you read THE WHOLE THREAD!?!? i ain't never done that. heck, i can't remember a few pages back, and i was there :X

Ok, I am SO hoping someone here installed the Zevran Romance Scenes mod here cause I need help. I've read all the read me files and just sent cmessaz a pm (I hope I get a response!) I couldn't find Hilde for some reason.

I have read the read me files with the mod and information on dragon age nexus and still can't get the cut scenes to work. I have removed all of the zevran_main.dlg and zevran_main.dlb files from the override folder (I've checked a dozen times).

I have ZevRing by Charsen : -- Manual Version with the Zevran_main removed. (I installed this before Zev Improved Romance Scenes.)

IRS - A works beautifully.

None of my other mods have zevran_main.dlb or zevran_main.dlg.

Zevran is at adore, but the dialog choices just don't show up.

I'm running on Windows 7, dragon age ultimate edition.

Is there anything else that may cause the dialog not to show up? Or maybe some FAQ somewhere that I haven't found that I could look at?

I SO want this!

Ok, I found out the problem and fixed it. This *always* happens after I ask for help for some reason! The problem was I had a copy of ZDF in the core/override folder of the application, as well as in the core/override folder in the documents section. I don't know how that happened but I deleted it and now it works beautifully. I don't think I'll be around much anymore. hehe

okay, that worked... now to remember how i did it...

you wander over into your album thingies, and go to the page with the pic you want.  you know?  under the caption, there will be some link thingies, one says 'share image' and one says 'report inappropriate content.'  click the 'share' one.

then copy um... oh, look, at the bottom it says 'ubb code for forums'!  that's not what i did, but that probably works better :X

copy that from there, paste into here, and shazaam!
