new chapter of Bannon & Zevran posted today. links in my sig to your favorite forum/blog/ffnet reading site.
work on my DA couples meme is stalled. :/ having a hard time getting them to look good in drag. stick figures might ensue... :X still a total of four fills for that meme left to go.
i have an idea for a response to my Inquisition prompt... if i find a proper source... klidi will probably finish before i do.

Hey Klidi,

Thanks to all the mods I had to install to install your mod, Kyhel (in picture above) got a facelift! I've already spent hours in the character creator. I still am having trouble with your mod-it doesn't look quite right, but I probably missed one of the mods on the list or something. Thanks for uploading it!

heyas! welcome to the zevran thread! don't worry, dawn is new here too. and me, personally, i'm not very fast in DA playthroughs. i finished my first playthrough (dalish elf), and then my second (city elf). then i started a nice human mage to go with alistair. which... i'm still in the middle of... :X and i also re-started my city elf so i could brush up on notes of events for the huge fan-fic i'm writing on that subject (bannon & zevran).
so welcome to the nuthouse, and enjoy the insanity

   I want to thank everyone for participating, amidst all that excitement and adventure and really wild things... and stuff!  Mine's just a goofing around thing.  TK (or should i call you ivory?  or tkler?) took us to the dark side with her demented mage Jorath.  Klidi gave Zevran a rough time during the ZevAir Awakenings timeline, but the master of suavity managed to keep his sense of humor throughout.

   Yes, I was in the mood for some serious sadism this week, and Jorath delivers!  Very scary, that guy.  Even scares Zevran -- well, just a little. 

   There was a prize around here somewhere; send me a bioware note thingy to let me know where you want yours delivered.  If you want the Zevran Pin-Up, make sure you specify for male or female.  If you want another still, just let me know; it's no trouble at all, really

The Zevran Weekly Prompt!

A Modern Zevran

   Zevran vs the Modern World.  Or Zevran in the Modern World.  There's fics about Dragon Age characters in the modern world, in cafes and what-nots.  Holding 9-to-5 jobs...?  Okay, maybe just the cafe part.  So this can be a glimpse of Zevran's personality and how it manifests in an 'ordinary' world.
   Or, perhaps the evil assassin we all know and love gets transplanted into our world and has to cope.  Or makes a witty observation on our lives.   Or needs to escape very quickly!  Etc.


Time Limit:  3 hours for writing, 5 hours for graphics
Deadline:  October 29, 2012
Prize:  An autographed Zevran pin-up, or a still from any of my videos.  I can try to do a bit of writing for you, if you like, if you have a theme and sorta outline in mind.  But my brain is an alien that I can't control, and I've never tried to write to spec before, so....

Wow. I know exactly what I would write for that... but I don't know nearly enough about Latino gang culture to do it without being One of Those People, and I haven't the time to do proper research.

I'm trying to see him as a Hoboken ******, which is closer to home for me (our school dances were glints of gold chains seen dimly through a haze of Drekkar Noir wafting through a forest of bangs lifted four inches high by Aquanet), but I'm not feeling it.

Hi everyone,

Just finished playing Awakening and I think the romance bit might have bugged somewhat. Zevran was romanced in origins but in awakening I had both letters (from Zevran and Leliana) and the ending slide said my warden was later seen with a red headed women, so not the Zevran slide.

Anyone ever have this before? (Sorry if this is an old bug)

i'm afraid i'm not familiar with awakenings that much. i played it once... and i stopped paying too much attention to the endgame slides when they said nathaniel was killed at the invasion -- since i had *specifically* told varel to execute him right then and there, and since there was no cutscene of it, i THOUGHT something dodgy was going on and that guy got away!

BalooTheBear, that happened because the romance was open with Leliana. It doesn't matter what her status is, as long as that romance is open, you get her Awakening epilogue card. Leliana's romance takes priority over Zevran's (actually, everyone's takes priority over Zevran's as far as triggers like that go -- they're in alphabetical order).

It's tricky because Leliana's romance is bugged, both in triggering it (the ninja romance bug after her personal quest) and in breaking it off (there are a couple of breakups that don't actually cut off the romance). So many people end up with her slides in Awakening. In Origins, you don't have that bug because to get the LI's romance slide, they actually have to be in love. This lead to an issue with Morrigan's epilogue, but that's a different story.

Yes I did enjoy it thanks. Though I think the broodmother was even extra icky than in origins. Going to be playing 2 next.

Thanks for that. I figured it would be. All through out Origins it seemed to think that the romance was with Leliana, even when it broke off. This would clearly be why. Thank you for letting me know.

I tried to make a Zevran in SIMS3  the other day and failed EPICALLY - its so hard from scratch. Even though the character creator is restrictive its still pretty good and I thought I would get something close. Nup 

So I have no offering to bring  - double

there's probably a mod to fix those bugs... ejoslin would know more about that, or maybe klidi who has a host of mods -- though those are all zev-centric. (klidi, where's your latest mod list?) also, it seems most of the romance/dialogue fixes are incompatible with each other. :/ why bioware just doesn't fix the suckers... ::grumble::

oooh, multiplayer! and totally no rp. :X it looks fun, though.... i wonder if i'd be any good at it. and/or if it would hurt my arm to play it.
