And it's not necessary to know how to edit cutscenes for that. All you need is a file with core morphs and the mod that allows you to change the Warden's appearance... just in case any of the newcomers wants to make a few, too. ;D

Tattooes are - huh - OMG they ARE on the wrong side! It's because I flipped thed damned picture and I didn't notice it and omg this will be difficult to fix, I'll have to do it in GIMP and that means layers... I hate layers...

The Zevran Weekly Prompt!

A Modern Zevran

   Zevran vs the Modern World.  Or Zevran in the Modern World.  There's fics about Dragon Age characters in the modern world, in cafes and what-nots.  Holding 9-to-5 jobs...?  Okay, maybe just the cafe part.  So this can be a glimpse of Zevran's personality and how it manifests in an 'ordinary' world.
   Or, perhaps the evil assassin we all know and love gets transplanted into our world and has to cope.  Or makes a witty observation on our lives.   Or needs to escape very quickly!  Etc.


Time Limit:  3 hours for writing, 5 hours for graphics
Deadline:  October 29, 2012
Prize:  An autographed Zevran pin-up, or a still from any of my videos.  I can try to do a bit of writing for you, if you like, if you have a theme and sorta outline in mind.  But my brain is an alien that I can't control, and I've never tried to write to spec before, so....

Oh, Felsi's awesome, but I didn't quite get the chemistry between them.  She doesn't seem the type to want to save or rehabilitate Oghren, and he really still needed to get his act together when you set them up (as evidenced by his leaving her and their kid later).  They're both great characters but I don't think they're great for each other.

Really, I think she's the dwarven barmaid of Varric's dreams, although he doesn't know it.  Certainly she could keep up with his wit.  Or if she swings that way, I could see her with Nathaniel for some reason.

2. Zevran the Matchmaker - Zevran does his best to improve Oghren's love life - meaning, he's trying to find Oghren a proper girlfriend. Reasons, persons, ways to do it are completely up to you.

Deadline: Monday 12th November, time as usual 3 hours, any media more than welcome - stories, pictures, screenshots, songs, whatever.

And there will be a reward - oneshot or picture by your choice.

What about Mischa? She's right there in Amaranthine, she seems to be more Oghren's age and given that might not want children. After Awakening, Oghren has probably realized that one child is enough and probably can't have more thanks to Grey Warden sekrit stuff.

I've been too sick to do a whole lot. My next art thing is going to be finishing up the Hard Gay (Razor Ramon Sumitani) Zevran, and (if I can figure out what I'm doing with it) the next fill I'll be finishing is the Dragonlance/Dragon Age crossover one.

Writing anything longer than an RP pose has been a no-go. And I can't seem to think in 3D right now to shade properly.

Just FYI, Ferelden elf names (city and Dalish) are Hebrew, surnames are those of angels. Dwarven names are middle -European. Ferelden human names are Cornish or Anglo-Saxon (Jory and Daveth are both Cornish names).

Shianni is a respelling of Shani (Which means red or scarlet).

Next week i'll go on a journey but after that I'll try to be here again. In the moment i plan to write some DA stuff again after my little excurse into the world of crime series and Harry Potter.
With Zev being a guest star in DA2 i'm thinking about integrating him more into a full DA2-adventure. What do you think about that? Together with Isabel he should be a splendid companion for the Hawke family.

The Winter Seasonal Non-Denominational Zevran-Themed Gift Exchange!

For the past two years, the ZevThread has done a holiday Secret Santa via the Groups here on BSN.  Somebody (an organizer) makes a group.  People join it and say what they'd like to get, and what sort of gifts they can provide.  Mostly it's stories and art, but I got a mousepad last year!  (Thanks, Sue!)

This is last year's group, which I organized, if anyone wants to see an example.  (I think it's viewable to all, let me know if it's not.)

I am not going to be able to do it again this year, so I'm tossing this out there as a reminder and call for volunteers.
