Yes, Ewlar, I am sure I really love him. I love enough him to accept him as he is, and not to judge him, or his other admirers and fans.
If he wants to be the main star in Rocky Horror Show, I'll be in the first row applauding to him.
And I will accept and love him in all his versions, even if they are different from my headcanon. I'll love him as HardGay (and if Aro would write accompanying story to that picture, you'd hear my squeak all accross the ocean), I love his pranks with Bannon, I love him as the Guildmaster of Crows, I love him in het pairings, in slash, with princess CousCous, with Alistair, and with Sten (I think I've read that one on kmeme).
If that makes me sick and perverted, then I'm proud to be sick and perverted. Though I seem to reemmber that it's usually called 'open-mindedness' and 'tolerance'.
Hm, all this reminds me - some time ago, I got this lovely review for Failed to Fail at FFN:
I'd suggest to write a romance with girl - I think the slash puts off some readers and it's a pity because your stories deserve to be on the top. She could be an elf and snarky like Airam, and romance Zevran, but I think it would be great if it wasn't so clear they'll be together. Perhaps you could add tension, making her unsure if she likes more Zevran or Alistair. I'm not saying she can't choose Zevran, but it would be more interesting like that.
So I did.
I now have a new multichapter The Butterfly Effect, featuring a charming elven mage Aira. Like her manly counterpart, she has white skin and purple eyes and hair, and is an ice-mage. Unlike her manly counterpart she thinks frogification is too crude - she much prefer to change fools into butterflies...
And, in compliance with the request of the venerable reviewer, it's not clear if Zevran will win her heart after all...
Warning: not for the narrow-minded people. This fic has story pollinating flowers and Alistair playing with his needle. In public.

II love the character of Zevran. I also write fanfiction (in Russian) and the pictures, but I try to stick to the canon. Zevran - beautiful elf. If you write that he has changed, the change must be justified.

That's not entirely true. You made a fanart of Zevran, and he's NOT the same as in the game there, is it? E.g. he has tattoos on his arms, and he doesn't have them in the game.
You added it there, because it fits with your interpretation of Zevran. That picture of yours is not Zevran, it's what you - a fan - converted him into. It's a fanart.
There is a canon character, Zevran Arainai. He flirts with the lady old enough to be his grandmother. He flirts with a Chanrty sister. He flirts with men. He openly talks about sex in public. He enjoys bondage. He plays role games, e.g. "pirate Zevran". He had many lovers, men and women. His idea of seduction is declamation of a poem told to him by one of his marks. He had her beg on her knees, but then killed her anyway. And he says this to the Warden, as an anecdote. Yes, there's much more to Zev than that. He's also loyal, he's not a cheater, he's supportive, etc. That's why he's such a great and complex characters. That's what so many people love about him.
And some then transform their love into a fanwork. But the picture, or the story, or whatever, are not in fact about the canon Zev. They're about the Zev that lives in the head of the author of that fanwork. That you don't like some fanart is perfeclty fine. We're all different and have different taste and cosider different things as "beautiful". And thanks the God for that. It would be a sad, boring world if it was different.
