I had a two hour talking at with my husband who I should romance this last playthrough. Zev or Al. I decided on Al this playthrough. Whenever zev would say 'we are ridiculously awesome. ' I would reply....'yes...yes you are. And I'm so sorry. '

That picture just reinforces my consternation at picking Al over zev.

Yes, this is a necro of the thread. And no it isn't for any real pressing reason.

I decided to play Origins one more time, so I made an elf mage. This morning Zevran said "I am yours" for the first time in this play through. I melted a little.

That is all.

Is it wrong that playing through Inquisition is making me want to do another run on Origins so bad I can barely contain myself? I mean Inquisition is beautiful and all but...I miss my Zevran and it doesn't help that the original cast were just...better.

 

I bought a dedicated gaming PC for DAI so I'm hoping the upgrade will make the graphics even better. I'm currently sifting through Nexus for a nice Zevran appearance mod to add to the glorious Zev mods already there, if only LadyKarrakaz's version was available my warden would be a happy lad indeed.

 

Glad to see the Zevran worship is still alive and well (read as *glad to see it's not just me still obsessed with him* lol!.

I only have two DAO characters (but I played both games to the max so I took forever to finish them). The first one was a human noble male who romanced Zevran and kept Alistair a Grey Warden. I'll never play that world state in DAI because I'm not going to make myself choose between "youknowwho and youknowwho". But at least I can watch that part on Youtube.

 

My other character is a female human noble who married King Alistair and is BFFs with Zevran. In fact she romanced Zevran first and he was really sweet about remaining friends when he made her break up with him for Alistair. So it was great seeing Zevran on the war table and I'm glad he's doing so well.

Wait, what? I am playing the warden romanced Zevran world state on DAI so this is of concern to me... what am I going to have to do and to whom? o.O

It seems that if you don't romance Zevran, he plays a part in some war table missions. A romanced Zevran does not show up in those missions, presumably because he's off with the Warden instead.

Oh, phew! I thought I was going to have to kill someone so I don't kill Zev or something ( and hell, I'd off my inquisitor before I hurt Zevran! lol!)

 

I'm actually getting pretty excited now that I realise I can add way more mods on this PC than I could on my laptop. I'm finally going to play with Improved Atmosphere and Redesigned plus the quest add on, so the ridiculous investment I made for the sake of DA I (which really hasn't lived up to the hype on many levels imo, it's fun but, well...) will be put to the best use I could ever think of :- allowing me to experience DAO in all it's excessively modded  glory.

 

And after what they did to Zevran in DA2 (and this is the only time I will acknowledge that travesty), I'm more than happy for Bioware to never go near him again. Zevran and the Warden are living happily ever after as far as I am concerned and that is all I need!

If I had to choose between killing my warden or Alistair/Zevran/Hawke, my warden would go...my various wardens liked Alistair and Zevran too much to let them die and I don't want to kill Hawke either, even though I like both of my wardens as much as as those characters.

 

I had to close my eyes during the DA2 Zevran scenes. That was Zevran's voice and Zevran's armor but that was NOT Zevran's face.

I have a problem. I had to repair the game and install all the mods again. And everything works... except ZRS. The kisses don't trigger, in sex scenes (when you lick his ear) he's submissive, the massage scene doesn't start.

 

I have Zevring and ZDF, both manual installations with zevran_main deleted from both. I also have Zevran Open Wedding, and Randevous at the Tavern, but those don't change his dialogue. I have also Better Sex Cutscenes, but not Submissive Zevran (I always had BSC, and before the repair it worked perfectly).

 

Funny thing is, when I delete the files from the Override and install everything again, it works... until the moment I end the game. When I start it again, it's not working any more.

 

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
