Hey, guys. One of the dA Dragon Age fan group is having a 'Gender Reversal' contest. Look at our beloved assassin as a female!

Q: Do arrows bounce harmlessly off of you because of your overwhelming awesomeness?
No. Don't be ridiculous. Arrows don't bounce off of me because I'm awesome, Half Pint. Arrows swerve to avoid hitting me because my coat is tailored Antivan leather, and only the filthiest nug-lickers in existence would punch holes in a coat this fine.
Anyway, if you don't mind, Half Pint, I'm meeting Unnamed Pirate for a game of cards. I'll be in touch if you've got anything else.

SCENE 1
Zevran and Missa are watching Varric play cards. Missa raises her eyebrow and nearly coughs on her drink as Varric unbuttons his shirt slightly, digging into the depths of his coat for coins.
Missa: Damnnnn. Did you see that-
Zevran: The gentleman of your fine race in that rather dashing coat? Yes, yes I did.
(The pair watch him some more.Varric sips from a glass of wine, unaware of his audience.)
Missa: seriously, that's one bronto I'm thinking of bucking.
Zevran: Now there's something. Shall we share?
(Missa laughs loudly.) Missa: this is why I lo- like you, Zevran. Come on.
Zevran: This will be fun, I assure you.
Missa: I'm not even drunk! Ha.
(Approaching Varric, Zevran bows with a grin.) Zevran: Allow me to introduce myself my friend. My name is Zevran. Zev, to my friends. And this lovely woman to my right goes by the name of Missa...
fade to black, end scene.

Would being female shape and change Zevran's outlook in life more, do you think? Especially in regards to how Antiva allegedly treat women.
QUESTIONS FOR THE class. I WANT YOUR ANSWERS ON MY DESK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, class.

What with all the gender switching going on at the moment, out of curiosity; would your warden still be romantically with F!Zevran?
See question one.If they were buddies, would they think twice and look at DAT ASS and the perky, pertinent way F!Zevran acted towards them, would they think "ah why not," as their sexuality is programmed that way?

That's your answer.
Romance her? A personality question. I'm leaning toward probably not, but I can't definitely say one way or the other. I had some vague designs on getting Cadryn into Morrigan's weird leather skirt thing just because I like Claudia Black (and the other options were less than enticing) but ended up playing him as sort of an asexual intellectual--Zev kind of blew that out of the water once I actually started talking to him. So if Fem!Zev retained most of the same personality, maybe.

f!Cousland (buddy) would have stayed buddy. f!Tabris (lover) would have dropped Leiliana even faster, I think. f!Brosca miiiiight have been eventually convinced to go in for a massage and some tent time, but would have backed off in the morning. m!Surana would have hit it in minute. f!Mahariel would have the same issues she has with m!Zevran and stay friendzone.

I suspect that there's a difference in how Antiva treats *ladies,* but I'm sure there's some trickle-down in attitudes among the lower classes.
I think we'd see Zevran, magnified. If murder is a man's game, largely, than she'd have to be, as they say, twice as good to get half as far, which makes me think even *more* outwardly cocky than canon!Zevran. Conversely, being told that she was 'nothing' would hit harder and on more levels. So louder, brasher, and even more walled-off, emotionally.

if they were buddies, my warden would flirt salaciously with her.... at first sight for joke....If they were buddies, would they think twice and look at DAT ASS and the perky, pertinent way F!Zevran acted towards them, would they think "ah why not," as their sexuality is programmed that way?
and especially if F! Zev has the same body I drew her
hmmm.... maybe Zev would be more cold and have more difficulties about feelings... be a woman in such background must be a way harder?Would being female shape and change Zevran's outlook in life more, do you think? Especially in regards to how Antiva allegedly treat women.

Tannu would hit it. One version was married with kids -- he's quite bi, even if I haven't been up for writing het for a while.
Alley would be just as disgruntled and oblivious as she is with the male version in IO. Maybe moreso on the latter. You think dude!Zev confuses her? Ha.
Personality wise? Girl!Zevran = Isabella. Just add a lot more ink. I can see why those two get along so well, despite Zevran sort of murdering her husband for her. But hell, she got the ship in the bargain...
