We could throw the massage elsewhere.....plenty of places to put it. I could throw out the first scene...keeping both might muck it up. But this idea...I do love.

Corker, the only place where there's any difference is if you use Dialog Tweaks.  It's not a flag issue, it's a content issue.  I agree that DT handles that a whole lot better than the vanilla game.

Edit: And it IS strange seeing as there are different dialogs if he's turning the warden down for the tent and they've never been there, and also the royal scandal talk is different if they haven't been to the tent.  I'm not sure why they kept in that same cutscene.

No, I think we could scrap the first time idea and just make this after declaration scene special regardless. It would still only trigger once, but may be very nice. 

However, where would it trigger? Not everyone goes back to camp for this convo....I will confer with Cmessaz.

LOL yes, been there, missed that, didn't even realize it was there...

Although if someone has installed the mod, they probably know where the triggers are.

I mean where would we want a more special "after zev hits love" scene? @ camp...@ eamons? it does not have to trigger at the conversation where you accept the ring, get proposal etc. It can show later.

The conversation almost always takes place in camp.  While it's possible for it not to, the way it's set up, generally it will happen in camp.  It actually never occurred to me to leave camp to ask him what was different, especially if you get the second refusal and the dialog basically pops up.

Edit: An easier way to handle it would probably be make a new flag that is set in that conversation where he declares his feelings, then have a selected dialog based on that flag that happens the next time you click on him in the camp -- maybe starting with a kiss or whatever..

Hilde, what takes place in Denerim? Normally the declaration happens in camp because to get there, he has to reject the warden and then the dialog is there. Or is this more to do with the mod?



Actually, a more streamlined way to do it would be to have two branches after he says, "That is enough for me." I end it there with a kiss (Charsen does as well I believe), but you could have two branches, one if in camp, and one if not in camp. The one not in camp would set a flag that would be cleared when the scene happened and the one in camp would give the scene? Hmmmm, a third for in Denerim would work if I'm understanding what you have in mind there. The only one that would have a flag that would need to be set would be the one in camp, and that could be cleared in both the Denerim and the camp scene.

grillz, you eventually have to choose. There is one dialog that I restore that shows a little rivalry, but nothing like the Morrigan/Leliana rivalry.

@grillz - there is one jealousy-banter from Alistair's side. It's the "What are your plans" banter - it's different if Alistair is also in romance with the Warden. But (unfortunately?) you don't have these scenes as between Morrigan and Leliana.
