@ICevoL - Yeah, it is a bit rough, though not as much in games as it is in life. People, for whatever reason, tend not to believe me until they've seen me actually run away from their dogs. It's... aggravating, I guess, is the word.
I did end up with the dog with three of my characters, but two of those were human nobles so I couldn't avoid it (and I stopped playing one of those characters for other reasons, so I only have two characters with the dog). I couldn't think of any in character reason for Zemariel not to take the dog along, so he did. I ended up leaving it in camp the whole time, though.
I think the Mabari pen in Redcliffe is the worst, since it always ends up being a fairly tough fight for me and I have to keep re-loading it.

@Tellervo - I really like that. Short but well-worded.

I still have hopes that I'll get something written or drawn for the prompt, but we'll see.

Did you just get his confession?  I still remember the first time I saw that.  It was...  completely unexpected and very moving.  Amazing voice acting for sure.

Edit: Ahahahaha, just caught up.  Did you accept the earring or turn it down?  Inquiring minds want to know! (I'm not trying to start the Great Earring Debate, however )

I should also thank you for the Zevran mod, since I asked my friends who dont have mods and apparently they miss out on some lines, or get such bad bugs as to ruin the romance.

I did like Morrigan saying "Be careful, but you know have fun".

Ah, you're welcome. Zevran's romance does have some pretty bad bugs in it.  His bugged gates dialog was the reason I started modding to begin with.  But bugs like his romance never updating to love in a certain circumstance, kisses being left out, some pretty bad conversation glitches...  I'm not sure why things like that weren't caught.

Where he confesses his feelings to the warden -- it's there you get additional dialog if you turn down the earring for the first time.  You have to ask him to the tent to open up the dialog though.

Ok I just heard it, and wow.
That moves Zevran up a lot in my books.

Just hearing him ask in such a worried tone of voice about if there is anything and him needing to know was amazing. I am so glad I decided to redo my mage file who romanced him.
I was so used to hearing him act so sure and cocky about everything, and just listening to how nervous he came off was awesome.

My mage celebrated with more tent time with him. I laughed at how there is +1 approval for that.

Hah, yes. There's someone on the Wiki site who posted an "infinite approval" bug for Zevran involving the dialog leading up to the tent time. That has got to be the biggest "why bother" exploit there is

You know, I've wondered if her husband was his first mark...  But no, aside from them both being Rivainin, the stories don't match up.  Though that would be funny.

Honestly, though, if they do anything to try to cheapen the romance between Zevran and the Warden, like making light of something like that, I'll nerdrage for a long time.  Not that anyone would care, but there's no real reason to actively destroy one of the stories for the lulz.

Edit: And my nerdrage would be completely epic.  I'm kinda nerdraging THINKING about it!  LOL, gah!

Yep, Isabela is definitely from Rivain.  She tells you if you ask her about being captain of a ship.

Edit: Though now that I'm thinking about it, why couldn't Isabela's husband been Zevran's first mark?  She knew, somehow, that Zevran was her husband's assassin.  I mean, yes, of course she could have put two and two together (her husband dead, her lover gone), but maybe it's possible that Zevran was in the bedroom, and the reason the merchant prince was naked was NOT because of him.

The only other question is, then, could a pirate be a merchant prince?  Or perhaps he wasn't a pirate, but instead was an importer, but after his death Isabela became a pirate?

I'm probably reaching WAY too much here.

were Zevran and Isabela lovers?  i guess they could be.  Isabela's husband was a merchant from Antvia, so having multiple marks on his head is probably common.  Was he was killed she and the crew turned to piracy, prolly why she doesnt seem to have a grudge towards Zevran but surprised to see him again.
