But seriously Zevran is the reason she's a pirate, so she probably will mention him.

They've clearly had a tumble. I think lovers would be a stretch, though I suspect that's how he got close to her husband, sleeping with her.
Lover may be a bad word to use, as you're right, he was having sex with her to get close to her husband. But it seems it happened quite a few times, and she found it enjoyable enough that she was most upset because he disappeared after he killed her husband.

Isabela being the wife of Zevran's mark that he took the earring from could help with the 'let's make Isabela important' campaign for her being a party member in DA2.
See, it would be funny. AND a great tie in. But he probably killed a lot of Rivainis

And then should the Warden cameo and have been in a romance with Zevran, she could recognize said earring and it would be epic.ejoslin wrote...

Not an ex. Isabela is very fond of Zevran, and sees him as that cute elf that she's had a fling with a couple times. She probably believes that they could become very good friends and always means to look him up whenever she's in Antiva, but never quite manages to do so. There's always something else more important to attend to and circumstances always get in the way. But when they do meet, she's happy to see him.

People's attitude towards her tick me off. Ooooh no! She's not a virgin! She is an unapologetic sensual and sexual woman! How terrible! *sigh* So apparently she can't fall in love or have a healthy relationship because of this :/ Ticks me off

Ooooh, ok, then nope, the Rivaini merchant prince is not Isabela's husband. Thanks for the Isabela info! Of all the characters for them to bring back from DAO into DA2, I'm not sure that they could have picked a better one (I like Isabela).

Yeah, the madonna/wh0re "principle" is still being used by some men, which makes me sad.

i think isabela prefers to be a free spirit and have flings, rather then relationships. Whick i dont mind, i mean she did have some feelings for Zev and he took off. so i kinda feel bad for her.

Seriously, Morrigan said she wasn't a virgin, Leliana made it clear that she wasn't a virgin, Zevran sure as hell wasn't a virgin...Alistair was the only virgin LI in Origins. Are these people who want a formerly married woman to be a virgin only romancing Alistair in Origins or is that somehow less important in the first game? Maybe it's fine if they're less open about it?
hey Leliana was a virgin, the maker gave her back her virginity. (sorry couldnt resist)
i think people are more upset its not morrigan returning and a person who you learned the duelist spec from.
personally i found isabela much more entertaining then Lel or Morri.

She had feelings for him? I didn't get that impression. She was certainly glad to see him, and yeh, they obviously had fun in the past and such.

I think about Morrigan, Leliana, and Zevran -- all of them had used sex in pretty much the same way in their pasts. For gain, to accomplish something. Zevran gets the most flack about it, but I think it's because... hmmmm. Maybe because he mentions it a few times I suppose. He talks about marks he had sex with. Or maybe it's because he openly admits to enjoying the sex. Leliana and Morrigan were not having sex for pleasure -- there was a different purpose.

from what sheryl said she is very fond of him and always means to look him up when she is in Antvia. i think her feelings might be more sexual then romantic though.

Hmmm, perhaps, but they're not as open about that aspect of it. You know, I'm not sure what the difference is.
Heh, it's funny. When Alistair falls in love, his response, "OMG! I want to have sex with her!" That's what triggers his propositioning the warden if they haven't been to the tent, him falling in love.
When Leliana falls in love, pretty much the same thing, except she has to be in love to have sex at all, whereas Alistair can be talked into it at adore.
When Morrigan falls in love, no more sex. Sex and love, she can't handle that.
When Zevran falls in love, no more sex. At least not until he gets his own feelings straight and the warden is willing to give a commitment of some sort of future.
So I would say sex has meaning to all of them, but in different ways. I'm not sure what this has to do with anything, but it's funny how they all view sex, eventually, as something very important.

Does she ever actually say that though? Only thing I remember her mentioning was that Flemeth would do it, and explained to her the same thing would be expected of her when she was older but I don't recall her ever saying she actually did it herself.

Morrigan is close to 30. She was told when she was a child that she'd be expected to do it when she was older. I would assume she hit "older" several years prior to your meeting her. But I absolutely agree that Morrigan knew nothing of love, and had no interest in love, before meeting the warden.
