Really am glad I recreated my Zevran romancing Mage.

Guh. Zev's so hot on other people's machines. *_* I mean, he's damn fine-looking on mine too, but my graphics are questionable at best.

You know how many mods I installed... Zev was almost the only thing that didn't need any improvement/change in my opinion.

Similar reason, I assume. Both of them have pretty good poker faces generally, so seeing them go has extra punch.

With Morrigan, it really is "good bye." She'll never see the warden again. Zevran is worried sick, but he has hope at least. That is, unless you tell him not to hope.

Well she thinks she'll never see him again. One of the reasons I think she melts so damn fast in WH is she spent a couple of years without the Warden, and she was miserable as a result.

It could be a couple of years, it could be far shorter. All we know is it has been at least nine months and the timeline is all screwed up.

I *finally* made it to Taliesen at below +70 in a romance! So I took full advantage and was all nosy to get the new dialogue options I hadn't seen.



He doesn't like that much, does he? Good thing I have boots and gloves in the backpack...

Good point, and you are probably right.  She really does love the warden.

Oh yes, you DO lose approval.  -8 or -15 if I remember correctly depending on whether you ask him if Taliesen was a good friend or if you tell him he should have stayed and fought.

I'm sure boots and gloves made it all good

So... I was looking at the "have you always been..."/"you must have quite a history with women" conversations. All i can say is the writing of those are masterful. Zevran gets the same information across, but emphasizing different things, and it does show how he relates differently to males and females.

I also get why people who romance him as a male character get a different impression than ones who romance him as a female character. While the dialog choices for the most part are the same, the few differences make such a huge difference.

Just these two lines, explaining how he has had sex with many others in the past, similar but SO different;

Zevran (male pc): I have been with both men and women in my time. Many, in fact. Often for business but not always.
Zevran (female pc): I have had to do many things in my work as an assassin, some pleasant and many not so.

I can pull up many of these small differences in the way he explains himself to a male and a female warden, but it just gives the romance, and even the lines that are exactly the same for both gender wardens, a completely different feel.

I am really impressed.

Edit: I think Zevran is more straight forward with a male, more flattering towards a female.  Both work very well.

Oh, I have a question. I never used the toolset so I don't know all the details on the dialogues... When talking to a f!Warden, Zevran says that he probably prefers women (or something along that line). Does he say anything on this subject when talking to male Wardens?

You're right. He says what he thinks the Warden may prefer to hear, maybe?
