Yep, here are the two lines (same conversation I quoted above, and I almost used them as examples instead).

Zevran (male pc): Given my druthers I would say I prefer a soft and shapely woman, but I know what I am. I will not discount anyone solely because of what someone else tells us is right or wrong. (this is simply who he is)
Zevran (female pc): Do I prefer women? Yes... yes, I believe I do, but you must understand that a certain open-mindedness is sought by the Crows in their recruits. For very good reasons. (thoughtful)

You're right. He says what he thinks the Warden may prefer to hear, maybe?

Either that, or he approaches men and women differently.  in the one quote I had, he mentions that sex has mainly been business but not always to a male, while with a female, he leaves out the non-business sex entirely.  I think women, even in a FWB situation, would be bothered more by the reference to sex-for-fun than another man would be (a man would relate to that a bit better I think -- and i'm probably being a bit sexist here, but still).

ah, bisexuality. Zevran is less confused about it then I am. Not done the Leliana romance in depth, so alas can't mention anything about it.

i was just seriously impressed with the writing.  The differences are subtle, but make a huge difference.

When Leliana is fixed properly so her female dialog goes only to females and her male dialog goes only to males, she has quite a striking difference as well.  With women she is supposed to be far more open, more emotional.  With males, she's supposed to be a lot more coquettish.  Her bugs really are a shame.  Women get her best dialog, but that makes sense -- women relate to each other in a more emotional way.

When i  misunderstand people who are good writers (and who are actually are clear), it's a sign that I have NOT had enough coffee.

My female Mage is like THE romance I identify with his right now, and it really works for me.

Same with my Havelock Vetinari mage who romanced Morrigan.



Have to get to it eventually.

Firstly due to circumstance, the current team of the DLC has dissolved and the project has ended. I apologise for the lack of communication, and hope you can understand the amount of effort, money, time and work it would've needed to pull off such a huge and ambitious idea.

I had fun though, and I know others involved did too- if anything, it was lovely to speak and interact with people who were clearly enthusiastic about a subject we clearly all loved.

I decline all involvement od thr DLC from here, since RealLife™ is kicking me in the teeth at the moment; but anyone of you reading this can pick up the idea and run with it, and give Zevran's story the send off it deserves.

Why am I posting this here? Because of my idiocy, that's why; I deleted the DLC group when I left if and did not give control of the group to another before I did so, and I'm trying to see if I can get it back so others can pick it back up if they wish.

I am so sorry. Today has been Soignee fail all over the shop, of which I'm trying to fix.

Hi everyone! ^-^

I've sorta been lurking here for the past few weeks. Really love the thread, the discussions are great and I love the weekly prompt idea.

I've really wanted to have an entry in a a prompt, but alas I always fail to come up with any good ideas. I really do want to work on my writing skills though, so maybe sometime soon since uni has finished for the year I can try.
Anyways, just this afternoon I tried writing a one shot, and I'd very much appreciate any sort of critique.

Firstly I'm aware I fail at titles. I will change it if I think of something better.

I haven't written anything in ages, but I do wanna start writing again. I swear my skills will be better next year when I finish some creative writing electives.

I have a question for you, fellow Zev lovers. Reading through the old threads, I saw someone mentioning that Zevran has a special line for the mage PC (something about being turned into a toad? Something similar to Alistair's line, I think), and I would like to know when he says this, because I have just played the entire game as a mage romancing Zevran and I didn't hear anything of the sort. And second question: does he have any other special Origin-specific lines for the PC? I remember him saying something to my elf, something about the discrimination towards elves, but that's all. Thanks in advance!
