I was running around DA:O today after I beat Awakening to get the bad taste out of my mouth and I switched to Alistair and he said "Yes, my love." I was confused because my character is a dude and in real life I went " He likes me!" My roommates are now sure that I'm gay and this game is unhealthy for me...

Granted, Ive played the damn game so many times that I know exactly what to say to him and what to give him to get highest approval... I usually end the game with the approval market pressing right against the heart. But was still weird

He did the same to my male Warden and I play on PC. I believe it's a bug. And no, I don't have equal mod installed.

You and me both. But the dual-core just can't cut it (to make the game run somewhat smoothly, the specs have to be dropped so low that I might as well be playing on the 360).

@Glor: You really should play it on PC with all the mods you can make it a different experience everytime you play.

I spread the Ali love for X-mas and gave my BFF the DA:O Ultimate as a present ... haven't heard from her since ... she must be deep in Ali love now :whistle:

To all: Who of you is going to buy DA2? I read a pretty good preview of the game in a German PC mag ... so I'm now actually looking forward to play it. And I had preordered it already in December because BioWare owns my soul ...

I`m going to play DA2. My husband prordered the sig edition for me. And I already have favorite. (Fenris:P). I can`t wait to play it.

Me too, what we know about him so far, he could be an Ali-type LI (if Gaider has written him). But I still hope that Anders is in the game (the only good thing about Awakening)

The new PC Gamer mag is out and Hawke is on the cover. Turns out the mag named DA2 as the main game to watch for in 2011. The writer basically shared our concerns - after playing DA:O so many times, he was terrified that BioWare was going to ruin DA2 by tinkering with what made the first one great. After playing part of it, he was really impressed with what was done.



I preordered it from GameStop and got the free upgrade to Signature Edition. I'm even debating about taking the next day off from work to play it.



I'm so adddicted.

Actually, I was thinking about taking the whole week off when the game is released. *goes and hides now*

I came a little bit late to DA:O, last November to be precise. And I had a holiday then and I got up, switched the PC on and played about 8 hours. I finished the game in about a week. LOL I am crazy I know. But BioWare games are my only addiction and I make lots of sports to balance the immobile PC gaming.

Your husbands get games for you??? Mine just thinks I'm completely insane! That must be really nice. I have to order my own, then I talk the youngest of the darkspawn into "giving" it to me. He's the only other one who plays. I keep telling him it's cheaper than shopping - although I will admit to a bag and shoe fetish, yay Leliana- but he just shakes his head and mumbles something unintelligible.
