I'm still impressed, Rage. I'd loose my place. I guess I need a few dozen more playthroughs to get to that stage.

Those are the same swords that Storm uses, but I don't think they are from the Russian mod, since I don't have that one.  I don't know where they came from.  I found them in my game using the Add Any Item mod.  They are beautiful weapons.

Me Likey! I downloaded it then for some reason never got around to installing it. I'll need to get on that. I think I like them more than the Phoenix daggers, and they're pretty neat. Thanks!

telling me it can't find part of the path... I'd rather extract 3rd
molars grrrrrr

Wow, I finally have an Alistair RDT shot to share! Not a great one but eh...





This has been the first time in a long while where I have been taking him around more frequently. I'm replaying my canon character and in this game I do play the friendship card with Alistair, which will obviously give the Landsmeet a much more bittersweet feeling...

Catspaw, did you run the DAOItemScanner.exe file?  And then make sure you do a console command of "runscript getx" instead of just "get."  That should bring up a window that will give you a very looooooooong list of all of your items, including the modded ones.

The scanner.exe file is where I get the error. It won't scan. I may just try the console command anyway to see what happens but as far as I can tell, it's doing nada:(
I just did Redcliffe without Alistair and it seemed really strange. Your tag team Templar/mages might be good. Keep us posted.

Yes, he's not letting that one go.  He even found my Flickr account and has it bookmarked on his iPod Touch so he can keep tabs on how much smut I upload.  I think he's secretly proud to have a "pornographer" wife.  

@Kyle - You'll love the armor... there are four different types and if you have UDK you can load up some custom color schemes provided by Xelte, the mod creator.  It's very cool!

I'm using Karmas Origins Companions.  It allows you to recruit Cullen, Jowan, Gorim & Gilmore at the moment.  Soon you'll be able to get Soris, Tamlen & Leske.  I've no idea how they are going to handle Tamlen.  The companions are romanceable, but at the moment unvoiced.  There are new areas and new companion quests.  I noticed that some of Jowan's dialogue is written by the ff writer who did the Maggie Amell stories (Apostates of Amaranthine, etc).  I only got Cullen recruited last night, so I haven't played with it much.  But so far, his lines are well-written.  I'm so familiar with his voice that I almost prefer it unvoiced.  It would just be too weird to hear a strange voice coming from Cullen or Jowan.

I also like this mod because it introduced me to the Awakening in OC mod, which brings the Awakening talents into Origins.  I need to download that mod that Storm found that allows us to keep gaining levels after the max.  Looking forward to having those new talents in Origins.

Edit:  I just had a happy vision!  Wouldn't it be wonderful if one of our Gush thread Teagan writers got together with this modder and brought the Bannhammer into our party too!

We'll see.  She's concentrating on npcs from the Origins stories.  We've been corresponding while she helped me figure out why the mod wasn't working for me yesterday, so I dropped her a note and asked if she ever considered a Teagan companion.  Keeping my fingers crossed.  She's also asking for voice over volunteers, if anyone feels up to it.
