Though I admit...those moments are rather rare, lol. But she is young, all but dumb... and still learning. :P

And pretty awesome. Good to see you back to writing.

*blush*

Why thank you.

I always think to annoy people if I ramble on about her like that, but in all honesty she and writing this FF is what kept me so long interested in DA...aside from Alistair, of course. I never created a character on my own for a story....until I started the game and chose the Dalish origin for a change where it simply happened. And the idea of a tiny elf doing havok as she goes and a "I don't care"- mentality had been too delicious to let it pass.

So I can't help myself than rambling...because to me DA basically is Lenya and Alistair. I can play DA with as much chars as I want but I keep comparing every situation within with Lenya...nor can I write about another Warden I have played. I'm hopeless in that, so y'all simply need to press the ignore button, if it becomes too much, lol. I'll shut up by myself at some point

And you are doing well with your stories too, btw  I so need to catch up on some FF's, sigh

ToP...again?

Have an random, talking Alistair:

Good that I have uploaded my pics by now.

Cailan is eye candy, I'll give him that. That's about all he has going for him, though. He'd better be placed at The Pearl than on the throne. He'd make a fine man-w hore.

"The speech you gave to the legless boy about hard work and making something of himself was fantastic." I really love the DN Origin...

Ah, what a shame.  As much as I do not respect Cailan, yes he could have been glorious.  He's a good example of what happens when someone is spoiled rotten, given no guidance and a lot of power.  I wonder how Alistair would have turned out if he had been raised alongside Cailan?

I'm sure that losing his mother early in life and being raised by two men who were rather out to lunch in the dad department (Maric and Loghain) didn't help him.  Thing is, if his gamble at Ostagar had actually worked, he would have been a hero and then hopefully would have given up on the harebrained idea of marrying Celene and actually have made a good king eventually.  His dad was impulsive and rushed into battles, too, but got extremely lucky.

That is a pretty good question, tupp.  We know that Alistair has more sensibility in him as compared to his older brother, but that can be due to his upbringing alone.  Who knows, maybe he could be just as spoiled considering he's the younger sibling.  But by the same token, he could grow up always competing with Cailan since all the focus and attention would be on him being the next ruler of Ferelden - therefore giving Alistair more independence growing up and becoming more self-reliant.

Morrigan: A fine starting offer
She later dissaproves -5 on not killing the elves in the ritual.

Actually it's:

"An interesting offer, if a tad messy"

Random note, Sten just got more awesome. I had never taken him to the Brecilian Forest and after Cammen babbled, Sten replied:

"Are all these bas such cringing, ineffectual creatures?"

Dana approved of that comment.

I am fairly certain she says that when Caladrius offers to kill all the elves to make you stronger.

I think she says: A fine starting offer. When he first offers to let you get the information and let him walk with the slaves.

I thought you were referring to that particular moment, when Caladrius offers the sacrifice. She does say "Tis a reasonable enough starting offer" when the offer of the letter is made.

By the way, looking through the toolset I noticed the dialog he has with Devera if you don't fight her at first. Funny stuff to say the least!

That's my warden Cicely, Zevran, Dog and Cullen on the dock at Gwaren.  It's a new area in the Karmas Companions mod.  They are on a quest for Cullen.

He berates her for being so stupid to bring the "famous" Grey Warden directly to him. She responds all surprised at the fact that you're the warden and he tells her "you should get out more often dear". If Alistair is in the party he comments about the bastard who would be king, to which Alistair replies, "Listen to this, a slaver calling me a bastard".

So there's a way to bypass having to fight your way to Caladrius?

That's hilarious. For all that Caladrius is a scumbag, he's so funny I have a hard time killing him.

(And I never doubted Sten's awesomeness. His one liners are hysterical).

Yeah, if you intimidate (or persuade?) Devera at the entrance, she will take you directly to Caladrius.

On a side note - who here is experienced in building Rogues? I played a Rogue once and never finished the playthrough, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

My main alt is a rogue (who started as a backup to my mage but then became my all-time fave, hence the profie pic).

I also have the handy-dandy collectors edition of the strategy guide that lists a few builds for a rogue: a melee DPS model, a ranged DPS model, and a scout model.

Ok, I was wrong, it's not a persuade or intimidate option, just a line telling her to take you to her leader. You can intimidate her into leaving though.

EDIT: Mother****! It IS a persuade line, just checked it in the toolset.... :pinched:

It's a result of having a high Coercion skill. If you do you get dialog options that have (Persuade) or (Intimidate).

I use the intimidate one on Arl Howe for our final confrontation. I giggle with delight because it gets under his skin

And then I backstab him into a stupor. Life is good.

Ah, I never bothered with the persuade options on the slavers. I'll try that this time. And I love using the intimidate line on Howe.

Edit: I usually have max coercion and around 40 cunning on my rogues by the end.

Mage!! You super awesome person you! What's the best way to get started on a dps melee rogue of the dwarven variety. I figured the best way to get started with my FF character was to actually play it...
