And a wonderful piece of revenge it is.  Do you play on the PC?  If so, there is a mod you might be interested in as it gives you a chance to keep Alistair from taking the final blow.  

@Yankee - I love your submission!  And you did a beautiful job of fuzzing out the wife so we can all imagine our Cousland's laying there.  Nicely done, as always!

@Giggles - Bob is back!  *Whooohoooo!*  Randi's happy!  I can see Alistair being exactly that level of anxious and Bob is just the person he needs to distract him.

Good morning,all. I worry. With DA 2 coming out in almost two months, what wil happen to this thread? Will everyone just run tothe next heartthrob. I don't think anyone could really take Al's place.

This worries me too. I played the rose scene again yesterday.

Though I may wander I have never found a character quite as charismatic as Alistair and I have never written about a computer game character before him. Hopefully, this will mark him as unique and at least part of me will continue to carry a torch for him forever. Also hopefully I will not be alone in this.

Inquartata, that's sooooo sad!    I made a decision before I started playing my diced warden that there were two things I wouldn't do ... kill Dog and kill Alistair.  I'm lucky that it was never an issue.  Although Alistair didn't get his happy ending.  Yours was the toughest ending ever!  Well ... at least for an Alistairian.   You'd better do a happy game right away to counteract all that sorrow.

Although I am looking forward to the romance options in DA2, I don't think anyone will ever be able to replace Alistair as my most favorite romanceable character of all time... unless SV happens to do another voice over.  

I have a feeling I will find myself playing both DAO and DA2 so I can enjoy the best of both.

Sigh, same here. I'm just so used to hang out in this thread and love it that this thought kinda scares me. Not to mention that I'm really bleh about DA2....so I really hope to be not left alone here in this place. And one thing is sure... I will definitely NOT swoon about Sebastian. NO.
