I can't figure out if my friends hate me or love me. One of them sent me this link as a sick, twisted happy birthday. WTF, friends? You're as bad as my d20 in the dice warden playthrough!



As for DA2, I'm excited because, well, it's a Bioware game and I love Bioware. I've been jonesing for another Bioware game for a while, so... yeah. I'm hoping to avoid the disappointment I had when going from ME1 to ME2, though. I just hated the combat changes and lack of terrestrial exploration and... well, I could go on forever about it. Not that I didn't like ME2, but it certainly wasn't the ME that I fell in love with.

I know exactly what you mean when it comes to ME2. As for DA2, I'm unsure about it. But the special eddition has already been pre-ordered for me:wizard:

@Elysis - That's very cool! Hubby pre-ordered it for me, for my birthday. That was very sweet of him considering how much he endures with me and Alistair fascination. But, since he's the one who bought me DAO last year for Christmas, he really can't complain since after a year, I'm still enjoying it! lol

I think I've spoiled KOTOR, Mass Effect, AND Dragon Age for my boyfriend because of my obssession with Carth, Kaidan, and Alistair!

Happpy birthday Inq, I know what you mean about ME, I quite enjoyed the first game but when in the second I discovered that a kiss was all I got from Thane, I just lost interest...  All the rest was shoot and duck, shoot and duck.... Give me DAO anytime...  I've preordered DA2...

I have DA2 on preorder but I'm a little hesitant about it since the cute guy, exiled prince, may not even be a romance option. I was not impressed with the choices in ME2 at all. Now guys got it all. They got Miranda or Jack and some even like Tali. For girls, forget it. Thane was the best of the choices and he wasn't much. In fact, we preordered 2 copies of DA2. One for my son and one for me. We both have 2 computers to install on. I have 2 laptops and he has a desktop and laptop.  Anyway, I hope they release a toolset for the game.

I'm not even looking at the forums for DA2 because I would hate to read spoilers.
As for ME2, it just felt more like a shooter then an actual RPG. That and the 2min Kaidan cameo.

I'm tempted to do this as Alistair and see what happens.
