Varric is actually the only one who even remotely interestss me as an LI. Fenris just seems to be another Zevran copy, and this Sebastian guy is a DLC character, which makes it unlikely (but not impossible) that he might be another LI. I don't see anyone else who looks like LI material, though they haven't revealed all the companions.

I'm sad about what they've done to elven women, but not surprised. It was too much to hope they'd go the other way (stronger, taller, less goofy looking). Ah well. It makes it easier not to be able to play one.

His story seems on the surface, basically another Zevran knock off (poor elf slave, forced to be ebil assassin/killer by ebil humans). As well as I do hope they do something signifigantly different with him. Zevran was cool unique on his own merits. I hope they do something different for fenris.

It wouldn't fit as far as lore and game universe goes. I'm more annoyed with the qunari having horns. Its a serious wtf aspect.

Duncan's beard is still there. It has been reincarnated as Varric's chest hair.
At least you can customize your appearance, though you can't do it to the default Hawke.
Isabella is definitely a male LI. However, I haven't seen anything confirming who the LIs are for females. I'd imagine Isabella would be the bisexual option, but no word on who the boys will be for a straight she-hawke.

Are they? I know elves in general are supposed to be attractive, but not more attractive than humans. they certainly weren't in DA:O. And given their lesser, subservient status and poor living conditions/diet, I don't see why they should be more attractive. maybe at one time, in the past, when they were immortal

I am curious to see who all the LIs are going to be. I know some people are antsy that there might not be a human male LI, but I can't see them doing a game without one. However, if it turns out there isn't, I'm going to be mighty peeved.
