Maric was very young when Katriel seduced him.  It was a dippy thing for him to do, but he was not glomming on chicks, and the same was true with Fiona.  He was devastated by his wife's death and for all that we know, faithful to her even though they were an arranged marriage.

Didn't Maric also have sex with someone in the Deep Roads in The Stolen Throne? I believe he did.

Loghain and Rowan may have in the Deep Roads as well, they never say.

Heavily implied.  "He laid her down by a green sea" etc.  Katriel and Maric also did it in the Deep Roads.  It's the Lover's Lane of Thedas!

Just looked it up:

Back on quickly - can I be jealous that Maric got to do the nasty in the Deep Roads? All I -er- my warden - can get is a short snog! How many times have I wanted to pin Alistair up against some bridge abutment and rip off that armor. Or check out the actual size of those Dead Legionnaire catacombs. We could test our, uh, flexibiliity.

I understand that it's life threatening situation, but holy crap. The Deep Roads are a terrifyingly dangerous place to be, and they seem to think that stripping themselves of their armor and getting into (several?) a vulnerable position(s?) in which their weapons are most likely out of reach seems silly.

Oh come on, Glor, the area doesn't respawn until the next playthrough. If you're doing full immersion role playing, you don't have to even entertain the idea. I was just trying to lighten things up. It's been so serious.

You have to agree that the mental picture of trying to fit into one of those catacombs would be hilarious - especially in heavy armor.

I once sparked a debate over this. Can't remember if it was in the old thread or new.

But yes, I find the idea ridiculous and revolting.

Sometimes, Glor, when the monsters are cleared, that excess adrenaline needs to go somewhere.....Been looking at some really boring xrays all day, and I'm a bit loopy. Well, loopier than normal. Me too, I prefer those comfy beds, but there are occasions.....

I do, and I've gone back a couple.  No dice.  Going to try going back further tomorrow, but at this point I'm losing at least a couple hours of play.  :/

I'm srsly hoping I don't have to go back to before I removed some mods.  B/c I don't even know how long ago that was.

What are you trying to get there for? I have a Dalish save there, but it's Di the Dice Queen, and she wasn't too bright before going in, it gets a little bloody.

Eh, if I have to, I'll replay. It can't be more than 5-6 hours, I don't think. I'm just really, really pissed.

Edit:  I just don't know why this is happening, it makes no sense.

Did it try to force load any mods when you loaded that save?

You have to force load whenever you remove mods. I've done it dozens of times before and this is the first time I've ever encountered a game breaking bug. :/

Gah!  That's what I meant. just a little tired.

What mods did it say was missing? Perhaps removing one might have corrupted the save?

It was a bunch. And it must have corrupted something, I just don't know how it could corrupt something I wasn't even close to. I wasn't even in Denerim for that force load, I remember that. Eamon hadn't even left Redcliffe, yet!

I'm just really annoyed.  I'll figure it out tomorrow.  I might have to go back before I installed some of the mods, just to be sure.  :/  But for now, going to bed.
