He's not. When you made an Orlesian, the default dwarven king was ... *drumroll, please* ... nobody! In the lines where you'd hear, "King Bhelen said blah blah blah" or "King Harrowmont said blah blah blah," you merely got, "The King said blah blah blah."

This was true for Golems DLC. Just the standard "the king" line replacing the names of Bhelen and Harrowmont. This is why I think it does not matter who is on the dwarven throne because they didn't give a crap in the DLCs. It didn't matter to Dace if you were speaking to him as a dwarf nor did he acknowledge your past origin. You were just a random warden.

ONE SIZE FITS ALL.

My one regret from DA:O is that by the time I was ready to order from the Bioware store online, the female version of "Save the Nugs" was gone. Too bad -- it was such a cute shirt with the v-neck style.

Well, he had no name, nor was he even confirmed as a companion/character, and he already had a massive fan-girl thread.

So weekly prompts seemed the next logical step, once everything was confirmed.<_<

The thing I am worried about the most is female LIs. Nothing can beat Morrigan. but neither Isabela or Aveline look, sound or seem even remotely compatible with my tastes (Aveline apparently lacks the feminine quality both Morrigan and Leliana had).

So it seems like ME1 and 2 all over again. No interesting LIs for me, but I'd still check them out like a chore.

Yup.

Isabela may be hot, but if her personality is anything like Origins...meh. Aveline isn't anything special looks wise- and as much as I liked Jaheira in BG2, I'm getting waaaay too much of a Jaheira 2.0 vibe from Aveline. And if Merrill is a LI? Ummmm...after seeing her new look.  Do. Not. Want.

The only half way decent looking females they've shown thus far in DA2 are Bethany and Cassandra. But I still think the DA2 faces look odd, overall.

I think the Dalish Elf, meril, is slotted as an LI, not Avaline. Isabella definitely is, though.

If all Meril will do is attempt to make me feel sorry for her people in a cheesy  way, then no thank you.

Partly why I like Velanna is that even she hesitates when we tell her that the elves would have been no different were they stronger than humans. And she doesn't dissaprove, so I respect her for that.
