Um...What mod are you using? If you are using -just- the First night mod, without IRS , then I included a fix for that in my file. Otherwise, the fixed file *should* be in the IRS mod.... How are your mods set up?

Sigh. . .PS3. . .no mods. Just a console bug.

I did take a while to decide between "I thought you'd never ask" and "No, you don't need to say any more" (or whatever) dialogue options. Perhaps his attention wandered. . .?

Oh, okay :) I thought you were using a mod. That's actually an unfortunate bug in the game,  PC too :(

Heh, the thane/barbarian helmet is a staple around here. My Aeducan wearing a barbarian helmet and Alistair wearing the thane helmet and both of them being DW warriors is almost too much cute and badass wrapped up in one.

Re. fan mods, I haven't played any of them. I guess I play mainly for character interaction, which is hard for mod campaigns to achieve. So the Mr. and I have talked about getting them, but haven't tried them yet.

Yeah, with my DC Warden he stayed in the right place but for once, the game didn't do the miraculous height adjustment it normally does, that allows Alistair to kiss Dwarves from the same position as he does Elves or whatever. So Alistair's arms went right around my Warden's head and he looked like he was trying some wrestling move on her, or giving her a noogie or something. :pinched:

Do either of you play additional areas like Castle_Cousland, Temple of Vulak, Tomb of Calenhad, or even Hilltop?

I've been having a blast with these additional areas, I haven't been able to clear the last area of Temple of Vulak yet, either.  Lol, it's shockingly scary, my husband always hears me yelling while I"m trying to stay alive there, it totally rocks.

more recyled

No, I haven't tried any of those.  I should!  Do any of them allow our regular companions?  I'm just having a pessimistic morning today, and figuring I might be feeling pretty angry next week.
:?

Sorry about the pessimism and potential anger  :( Hopefully that won't come to fruition.

But, yes, you take whatever party to those areas you want.  They each are good for different levels, especially Temple of Vulak, which you do at max level before the AD, or...even after the AD, those areas are still available after your campaign is done.  Hilltop is level 7-9 I think, Castle_Cousland after that, next would be Tomb of Calenhad ~level 15, then Temple of Vulak @ max level (I'm usually Level 25 by that point).

Temple of Vulak and Tomb of Calenhad are done by the same guy....very well done.  Castle_Cousland has two parts to it, after the first part you get a one-stop-shopping-and-enchanting area, which is very nice.  I've enjoyed these very much.  There are some others 'coming down the pike', which should be fun, as well.

Temple of Vulak  is so challenging, especially the outdoor area. HEH HEH HEH.:lol:

Theres also the Engima Battle Dungeon, Return to the Kocari Wilds.

Theres one called Ancient Elven Ruins too.

Lol, my husband heard me screaming from outside when I first took a good look around the outside area of Temple of Vulak!  I screamed and laughed and was horrified all at the same time....

I've not checked out Ancient Elven Ruins yet, but will....the other two really didn't interest me.

Man-S-L-u-t Cousland and Alistair - Trying to get this warden through awakening since he still was in a romance with Morrigan  (sorry to Alistair purists, can't take a screen of this with helmet on to hide hair)

I screamed too!!   And I died alot.:lol:  Everybody should experience Temple of Vulak at least once.;);)

I recommend Enigma for one thing...The Secret Passage. Heh Heh Heh Heh:D

I also like Alley of Murders. For an actual quest it was pretty good.

Hated the voice acting in Blood Works though.

I tried a mod yesterday - I forgot the name, but it is locaed to the NE of Denirum on the map. I couldn't find how to exit the area, and I got stuck there. Had to reload.

I'm a little nervous about next week's dlc and how I'll be feeling after I play it.  It might be good to have another game to distract me.  It's either that or Mass Effect 1, which I bought awhile ago, but still haven't gotten into.  It'll either be that or my last City Elf + Alistair playthrough.

I'm kinda worried, too. I haven't yet completed a playthrough since I got the pc version, so I'm not too worried that I will be turned off of DA:O, but there is a small unrealistic part of me that is secretly hoping bioware throws us a bone since this is the last of our wardens and they cut short their DA:O plans.  I know I am going to be horribly dissappointed, but there it is.Posted Image

HAhahaha. . .okay, that actually makes me feel better for some reason. I thought my PS3 was against my having Alistair romances or something. . . :P

Perhaps Alistair has ADHD. . .or spotted someone making a toasted cheese sandwich over the fire. . .

Lol, I still haven't completed the outside area, I die, and die, and die, and die, and it's so much fun!

I'll have to get Enigma, then.  I need something, as I'm having a really hard time doing a playthrough at present. I do an origin and get to Lothering and then stop. I'm finding it hard to get through awakening again, too..bleh.

This last DLC is freaking me out a bit, too.  I truly hate to see the end; but, the game has been so enriched by the modders (thanks to Cme, Dahlia, tmp especially) that the experience can only get better as time passes.

Quick question since I'm relatively new to the rules of this thread. This is smut thursday right? Is it only Alistair smut that's allowed? Because Ser Perth got a lot of action from some of my Wardens last night. If that sort of stuff is allowed...

Not sure how many updates that mod has gotten but in the version I downloaded he was an option.
